Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Mark the host gave us super easy and clear instructions to get to, and get in the caravan which made things super easy. The caravan is absolutely stunning, so clean inside with absolutely everything you need, from plates, cleaning products, even a slow cooker and dishwasher. Everything was left for our one year old including a cot and blankets, and they even had bubbles, loads of games and books for all ages. The WiFi worked really well and honestly we couldn’t fault it. The site was lovely, although there wasn’t loads to do for the kids, they made use of the golf, football pitches and pool. The entertainment was decent and we even won £500 at bingo! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was just as described and in the perfect location so we hardly had to use the car at all and were able to walk to Windermere, Bowness and Brockhole with our two girls ( 13 and 8). The use of the nearby pool was an added bonus after a day in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back! 😀

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Badgers Rest. The home was beautifully clean, had everything we needed and in a great location. The facilities were amazing nearby too.

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

Quite possibly the easiest air bnb to check into, absolutely immaculate and amazing location with the most stunning views!! Will 100% be returning!

We had a great stay and would love to return one day. We went as a family of 4 - with our 17 & 19 year old sons and all really enjoyed the holiday cottage. The stand out 'wow' is the beautiful garden that leads down to the river at the bottom....a very rare find. The cottage is in the heart of the village, so there's easy access to small shops and variety of pubs to eat in. We had mixed weather and so enjoyed local walks but were glad of the log burner and heating to warm up at the end of the day. There's still a beautiful view of the garden even if it's raining. The cottage was well equipped and homely - it was much lighter and brighter inside than we'd thought it would be. Great stay - Thank you.

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. The house is cosy and homely and is in a great setting! The children loved running up and down the huge garden along side the cows in the field across! We loved all the little details such as the decor, even down to the Andrex toilet roll! The welcome baskets were also very much appreciated and very well thought out! We would love to come and stay again! Thank you!

We have just returned home from 4 nights at Julie's ex-guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. We were a group of 5 adults, a 9 year old and 18 month old and there was space for all of us. Each room has its own ensuite and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was very clean and the utility room is also massive which helps if you need to do any washing while staying there. We will definitely look to use Julie's place again in the future. Julie replied in good time to any messages and is very friendly. Highly recommend as a great place to get around the Lakes from too.

The location is being perfect with amazing views, and the property was just what we needed. It’s clean, cozy and feels just like home. What more could you possibly want? Will definitely visit again in near future

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little cottage. The attention to detail and the welcome pack made us feel at home straight away. Even the dog was included with a blanket and water bowl. It’s in an excellent location to explore Hadrian’s Wall and the Roman forts, as well as Corbridge and Hexham, both worth a visit. These are only a short drive away from the village of Wall itself, which is very picturesque and peaceful. All in all we had a great break in a great place.

Melissa was a great host, who communicated all the essential information and was always on hand with any questions we had. The property was in great condition and perfectly met all of our needs. I would highly recommend staying here. Amazing.

A perfect getaway - so cosy, comfortable and inviting. Literally 5 minutes walk from amenities, the town centre and the castle as well as the bus station and rail station, this is perfectly located. Will definitely be back and we are so grateful to Ruth for letting us stay in her wonderful home!

Good location just outside Keswick, perfect with a car to visit various walking spots, lakes and close to Keswick. Lovely, clean and very practical place to stay, recommend the place to stay as a base to visit the lake district. Perfect for couples looking forward to weekend away as it is great value for money.

Andrew and Linda are the perfect hosts. I have done some Airbnb’s in my time & this surpassed them all! Firstly for privacy, a lovely little backyard with a bench to sit and watch the birds & read. Secondly you have the town centre with pubs, restaurants and supermarkets a few minutes walk. We visited Ulverston to do kayaking, then to the falls at Aria force., so many beautiful locations within a short drive. The bathroom has everything stocked. Genuine thought has gone into this holiday home including the comfortable beds. A week away here, & there would be still more to see!
