Elegant and Stylish Designer Apartment in Central Athens

The 100 sq meters 2 bedroom apartment is situated in a privileged residence building on the 5th floor in front of a spacy park.It is a sunny apartment with all the rooms viewing directly to the park and to further horizon (the balcony has direct access to that view), without having a road between the entrance of the building and the park ,in a very quiet location, few steps away from local night life. IIn more detail: The apartment: As you enter the apartment (100 sq.m renovated) there is an entrance hall with an open kitchen on the left and a bar with stools. The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave and dish washer included).In front, there is a spacy sitting room with a 4K smart tv (neflix channel included), a dining room (big wooden designed oval table with 8 chairs ).In both sitting and dining area you can enjoy the park view and the tranquil open space ,without anything reminding you that you are in the center of a big city. In that area there is also an office table for use of laptop etc. On the right (there are glass doors that can provide privacy) there is a modern, confortable sofa bed, that can accommodate 2 people (210x140 cm). Sofa in the sitting area, dining table, chairs and stools are recently bought from KARE design store. Beside the kitchen there is a small corridor that separates the sitting, dining and kitchen area from the rest apartment. When you open the door to enter to the bedrooms and toilet ,bathroom area, you have on your left a small toilet wc and on the right the one bedroom with 2 single beds (brand new eco mattresses for extra comfort sleep, 200 x90 cm or 3’x 6’66’’ft each) that can be attached ,wardrobe and access to the balcony. Further on the right there is the main bedroom with a 200 x 200 super king size bed (brand new eco mattress for extra comfort sleep size 183 x 203 cm or 6’ x 6’ 66’’ ft) with wardrobe and access to the balcony. Just opposite to that, there is the big bathroom with shower and bath facilities, and at the end of the corridor a small storage area, where there is a washing machine. We are available for any help during your stay! A central neighborhood of Athens, you can easily walk around the area and encounter local stores, galleries, small theaters, restaurants, and bars. Kallimarmaro and Kolonaki also has several parks. The apartment can be accessed very easily from the airport and the port. The metro station (Evangelismos –blue line ) has a direct access from the airport and is a 10 minutes’ walk from the apartment. In case you choose the metro or the bus, carrying heavy luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi from the bus/metro station to the apartment (less than 5 min, costs 3,20 eur), because it is situated uphill (e.g. some steps if you prefer to save distance) ,which is also the reason of the excellent horizon and view of the park. From port of Piraeus around 40 mins away, you take the train towards kifisia(green line), and change at monastiraki station to blue line towards either airport or doukisis plakentias and exit at evagelismos station. There is a private parking 100 m from the apartment. Transportation facilities (from/to the airport with very competitive prices, or day trips or tours) can also be arranged on request. Mattresses for all beds are ECOSLEEP (type BIOREST-new technology layers with advanced foam materials, such as memory foam for extra comfort sleep) Open area is a balcony 12 meters long that can be reachable from all bedrooms and sitting areas with view on the park. There is a strong Wi Fi signal. There are 2 elevators (1 normal and 1 small) in the building with access to the floor (5th). There is a private parking located 100 m from the apartment. The apartment is on the second floor and has been fully renovated on August 2017. In the apartment there are two bedrooms, one living room, one fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom and two small balconies. The kitchen is opposite the living area in an open space layout, that automatically lends itself to relaxing after a long day at the museums. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped and serves as a perfect breakfast and dining area. The living room is spacious, has a flat screen TV and leads to a small charming balcony, where you can enjoy an evening drink. The master bedroom is spacious and bright with large window openings. In the second bedroom there are two single beds. Its main colors are warm grey and white and the wooden elements make you feel like home. Both bedrooms and the living room have ACs, so there are 3 ACs in the apartment, which make your stay super comfortable. You can access your Netflix account, so you can watch your favourite series and feel like home! Towels, bed linen and covers as well as bath supplies are available for you. In the kitchen you will find two coffee machines - one espresso machine (Nespresso) and one filter coffee machine. Capsules for the Nespresso machine as well as filter coffee and tea are available for you. I love meeting and talking to people from different countries and cultures! Feel free to ask me anything you like before you arrive in Athens and of course while you are staying in the apartment. I will make sure you have everything you need. The apartment is in Koukaki, an up-and-coming enclave of Athens peppered with trendy restaurants, cafes, and nightlife spots. Central cultural attractions, like The Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, are minutes away on foot. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the Syggrou-Fix subway and 7 mins walk from the Acropolis subway. The tram is 1 minute walk and the bus station "Olympiaki" 4 minutes walking distance, right at the Syggrou avenue. There are several buses that pass from this station with destinations into the centre of Athens or towards the southern coast of Athens. The area is very central so finding a taxi is really easy. You can always book a taxi by phone or internet. The "Beat" application available for mobile phones and tablets is recommended. The majority of car rental agencies are located on Syngrou avenue nearby, so picking up a car is super easy. You can park for free on the street in our neighbourhood, but I wouldn't suggest renting a car while you are here. The apartment is centrally located and you can go anywhere by foot. There is a super market near the apartment, only 40 meters away. There is also a pharmacy in the same building as well as a hairdressers. If you would like a haircut or a blow-dry let them know you are staying with us!

Our guest apartment is absolutely brand new, transformed from an old typography workshop to a sophisticated design space. The furniture was created by hand using local and eco-friendly materials or renovated old pieces. There is a King size bed with super comfortable mattress and premium quality pillows, a work desk with a library, a sofa that turns into a double bed and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table. The large industrial style windows open directly space to the veranda where our guest could enjoy their lunch or relax to the deck chairs with an unrestricted view to a central soothing square In spacious bathroom, you will find a big shower and a storage space with many extra amenities and comfort facilities like washing machine, hairdryer, first aid kit and toweling. The space has high-speed internet and is designed to be accessible for persons with special needs. Every space or supplies in my property are available to use. I allow a flexible arrival time best for my guests and also I m accessible frequently because of living and working in the neighborhood. But I prefer to respect your privacy so I let you know to contact me (sms, mail, phone) if you have any request or concerns. Also there is available a unique guide with various info’s and many tips for the city in order to facilitate you to self-manage your needs and discover the “genius loci” of the place. The apartment lies in the neighborhood of Psiri, one of the oldest districts of Athens around the rock of Acropolis. It’s on a quiet street next to a pedestrian area, with small squares where people gather to eat or shop from artisans or collectors. Walking distance (3-4 minutes) by metro stations of lines Monastiraki (line 1 & 3) and Thissio (line 1). Monastiraki station has a direct connection to the airport and to the Piraeus Port too. Using metro or by car/taxi arrive at the Larisis Train Station to central and northern Greece. Parking using a low-cost card or at private parking to the next block by a daily fee (starting from 5€) Don’t hesitate to ask information about current cultural and social events around the city during your stay. Also I m a young mom and I can share with other moms many facilities for feeding, sleeping or creative play for newborns and kids.
