Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cephalonia

Honestly the best Airbnb we have stayed in. The semi private cove was a big highlight, no one else used this our entire trip so felt like we had a private beach on the doorstep! The views were incredible from the garden, one day we planned to go to the beach however enjoyed the garden so much we decided to stay! Great distance to lassi where the restaurants and bars are. Paid €8 for a taxi into argostoli and took roughly 7minutes to drive. Very good location’

This place is a hidden palace on the hill, located quite well for most things you may want to do in Southern Kefalonia. And if you want to stay there and do things at the furthest point north, it’s a 1h25m drive. We loved the cleanliness and quiet. There is one neighbor next door which appears be a mirror villa to this one. There is a little bit of noise from the airport but I found it enjoyable watching a planes take off. There aren’t many, perhaps 1-2 per hour. Gjon & his team are very kind and accommodating. The outdoor space is quite large and the pool is as big as it looks in the photos. I would estimate it to be about 15 meters (45 feet). There is enough parking space for several cars. The amenities inside are modern, and the whole place looks recently built or renovated. Everything works perfectly and it’s a great place to have as a home on the island. This place is flawless and it was a top tier experience. Put in Pantheon Villa Svoronata into GPS for a smooth arrival.

We were in Kefalonia for the first time and are thrilled with the island. Exactly from the place. It is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything. You won't necessarily find this in other accommodations, where plates and glasses are counted. We were pleasantly surprised that in the refrigerator there was not only a bottle of water, but also homemade lemonade and watermelon. We were allowed to pick oranges from the tree and squeeze juice. The view from the terrace blew us away. Fantastic view of the sea. We were lucky to meet Emmanouella Maria's mother. A wonderful woman who takes care of the property with the family and also gave us excursion tips. Especially their beloved mountain Enos in the nature reserve (1628 m), which can be seen from the accommodation. The excursion was great, after that we saw the mountain with different eyes. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you have come to the right place. Activities are not mutually exclusive

Very helpful and kind host! The house is a gem, very well-finished, clean and equipped with all the comforts. The outdoor space is really nice for spending quiet evenings. Upon arrival we were greeted by Alexia who kindly provided us with fresh fruit, wine and soft drinks, really hospitable! Highly recommended!

The apartment was perfect for us. The views were stunning and the location was so tranquil. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We received a warm welcome from the owner’s father, Akis. We arrived late in the day and rather than driving in the dark, asked his advice regarding having food delivered. He was so helpful and kind. We would definitely recommend staying at Sun and Moon.

Staying in the villa feels like staying at home: it’s cozy, well equipped, decorated with love and Angie and her family are all incredibly nice. A huge bonus- they can prepare food for you which is with home grown vegetables and tastes amazing. We had no issues with the check in or when leaving and I feel we were very lucky to have found this place. If you want peace and quiet, a gorgeous view and the privacy of a whole house, this is your place. 🧡

We had a really lovely stay at the Endless Blue House. The house was perfect - big comfortable bed, beautiful private garden, and the BBQ and Hot Tub were great additions. Having immediate access to the stunning crystal clear blue sea was incredible and much needed. Shops and tavernas in Sami are only a 5/10 minute walk away along the adjacent path, with a variety of excellent food on offer. Pantazis was an excellent host - would highly recommend hiring one of his motor boats to explore the coast and nearby beaches. Overall a great holiday.

Congratulations on the apartment. Unique and spectacular. A large living room with a super-equipped kitchen and two sofas, above two air-conditioned bedrooms with comfortable beds. Outside, a table on a terrace with a breathtaking sea view, we stayed for dinner two nights to enjoy the view. The owner Maria, a lovely person, welcomed us with great cordiality, offering us cake, jam and coffee on arrival. Four of us were comfortable. The apartment is in a strategic location to easily reach all the beaches to the north and east and west of the island. We will definitely return.

Amazing place. Views from the rooftop are incredible and inside very spacious. Located right on water surrounded by restaurants. Vera was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

The place was clean and Dimitris was a very good host. Very friendly with good recommendations on restaurants and places to see. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the city square where you will find plenty of restaurants and bars. We felt safe walking at night to and from the apartment. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the hot water. There is hot water but it can run out fairly quickly. It was enough for 2 quick showers but that was about it. Not too much of an issue and we still enjoyed our stay very much.

Titi and his grandmother were very kind to us. They also allowed us to postpone the checkout time, which is no small thing! The place is in a convenient location, close to the center of Argostoli but out of the chaos: it's less than a 10-minute walk to the most central part. Street parking is easily available. In addition, the accommodation allows you to arrive in a short time at the airport. Small but clean, functional and complete with everything you need.

We had a fantastic holiday, the apartment is just like the pictures. Katerina sent us video instructions for how to open the insect screens, hot water button, how the oven works, etc, and everything worked perfectly as described. There were welcome items such as water, butter and jams in the fridge and there were plenty of towels and extra bedding and pillows. The balcony is the perfect place to watch the sunrise and eat breakfast in the morning sunshine, and in the afternoon/evening there is welcome shade after a day of sightseeing. Argostoli is the perfect location with plenty of restaurants, shops and amenities very close by. We didn’t hire a car but we did use the local bus service frequently and it was very inexpensive and easy to get around. Many thanks for a lovely holiday

If you’re thinking about booking a stay at Villa Rosa, don’t, just book it. To say the photographs don’t do it justice is an understatement, this place is truly paradise. If you look one way you experience magnificent vistas over the Ionian Sea and look another and you experience the majesty of the Kefalonian mountains… it’s simply stunning. Then, there is Joy… wow what an incredible woman. In all my years of travel I’ve never met a more professional, kind and caring person in my life. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, Joy made us feel at home and like we were part of her wonderful family. She took us personally to our accommodation which was wonderful (again better than the pictures) and helped us to get well appointed with the area and the villa. Each day Joy greeted us at breakfast (which is to die for by the way) and would give us personal recommendations for places to eat or visit all over the island… all of which were incredible… we will back!

I would recommend this air bnb to anyone visiting Kefalonia. It was just as described and even nicer in person. The location is close to restaurants and supermarkets. The host was incredible, I am not sure super host does him justice. He was extremely responsive, attentive and his guide to the island was so helpful. The location is right across from the turtle viewpoint and we saw turtles everyday. It was extremely clean, well kept and had the essential and more. The laundry machine was a huge bonus. Parking can be a bit difficult during the day as the street does get busy but we were able to find parking in walking distance.

We spent 5 nights at the apartment and it was perfect. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The garden around the apartment is beautiful, full of flowers and plants to enjoy from your balcony. The view from the balcony is amazing, we loved waking up and watching the water with a coffee. Poros is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by mountains and the swimming is great from the beach. The location is also great, you can walk straight down to the beach. We didn't meet Despina in person but she was lovely over messenges and helped us out with recommendations and anything we needed. We can't fault our stay and everything was perfect, we really hope to visit again in the near future!

The Casa Simone accommodation is a really nice and well-equipped apartment. A very good location and many parking options in the immediate vicinity. Simply perfect for a few days to watch the colorful hustle and bustle in the capital. Spiros responded to all requests and questions and thus made a wonderful stay possible for us.

Loved the apartment, it was close to the centre and had everything we needed for our holiday - the beach umbrella and cool bag were particularly useful! Georgia was really helpful and welcoming. Thank you!

We spent a wonderful few days at Eagles Nest. The location is amazing, backed by magnificent mountains and overlooking sea views. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the pool was heavenly, a very peaceful place to relax and cool down with the sounds of nature all around you. Marina was everything you could ask for in a host, friendly and welcoming and always there to help if needed. Thankyou Marina, we loved our stay in Kefalonia, we’ll definitely be back!

Anna Marie was the best host I have ever experienced. She was quick to respond and always offered help even insisted on carrying my luggages! Place was squeaky clean and very close to the water which offered all restaurants and shops. I would stay here again!

George's house turned out to be everything it promised and more! Very convenient location, literally a stone's throw from both the center and the promenade, but despite this, it is quiet and has numerous parking spaces along the road nearby. The house was clean, tidy and was able to meet all our needs for all eight nights of our stay. George, the host, deserves a chapter of his own! Very kind, super helpful, his advice on places and beaches to visit, combined with logistical advice on where to eat, shop, etc. really contributed to the perfect success of our vacation! His information on the arrival days of cruise ships in the port of Argostoli proved to be fundamental for our organization of "when to go where", allowing us to enjoy the beauty of the island to the fullest. The apartment was exactly as pictured, with all the space and amenities needed for the stay. The hosts were also friendly and responded quickly, even allowing my partner to stay with me at the last-minute at no additional cost. The area was peaceful, a short drive from the airport and Argostoli, and just around the corner from a taverna (Καθ' Οδον Ψητοπωλείον on Google maps) that offered great food at an affordable price.

I had a great time in the Airbnb and would totally recommend it. Everything was shiny new and clean ✨ the flat is very well located in Argostoli and everything is walkable. Also the bus station Ktel is just a few minutes walk. The communication with the host was very friendly and they waited - even my flight was delayed - in front of the Airbnb. Very thankful for this great experience 🙏🏻💙
