Family-friendly holiday rentals in Chamoson

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying with Patrizia and Antonio, without a doubt the best hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. They’re the kind of people who remind you that there’s still so much goodness in the world, the kind you can count on, even as strangers. Thank you both for everything; your humanity and care meant more than words can say.

A beautiful apartment located in a central location for all outdoor lovers! We hiked nearly every day and used the bus system. It was so convenient. Just a beautiful location and beautiful home to stay in. Thank you !!! ☺️

This is a large Airbnb, which is fairly close to the train station in Zermatt, and the host was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The Airbnb is situated on the side of a large hill, which faces the Matterhorn. We had a beautiful view of the mountain every single day, and the dual lifts make it easy and convenient to get from town to the Airbnb. The only downside -- and it really wasn't much of a problem -- is that the Airbnb is located near the edge of town, and so it is about a 10 to 15-minute walk to the center of Zermatt where most of the restaurants are located. Regardless, if you have a large group, this makes for a good option. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

9 of us stayed here and the chalet was great for us, plenty of room and a great kitchen. I would definitely stay there again and will be recommending to F & F.

Very nice apartment on the ground floor of a beautiful chalet. The apartment is located in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif, 20 minutes from Chamonix or Lake Emosson. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. In addition, it is very well equipped (coffee machine, spices, linens, etc.) It is with great pleasure that we will return to Ilse and Edward!

House had a great location, just a few minutes from the train station. The views were spectacular, I could look at the lake and those mountains all day. Lots of amenities and fun things to do at the house.

We felt very comfortable and especially enjoyed the breathtaking view of the mountains. Audrey and Vincent are very friendly hosts. The studio is super equipped, we didn't lack anything. Thank you, we will be happy to come back.

We had a great time with the family. The accommodation is outstanding and is something very special. There's nothing missing here. The view of Mont Blanc from the chalet, as well as the possibility of using the many hiking trails directly from the accommodation, are spectacular. Vincent is an excellent host. I am deliberately not saving on superlatives here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to being Vincent's guest again in the future.

A fabulous hideaway, so quiet, no noisy roads, no noisy people. Just perfect. Lovely and warm, very clean, full of everything we needed. Was great to just read and not have a TV And we didn't need a microwave because we were able to cook ourselves easily. Plenty warm water and so luxurious to have a bath in the apartment, fantastic!! Also Samoens has lots of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes. In addition we were able to use a couple of spare towels as a curtain in the bedroom, so no problems at all. The information provided was so thorough, there was nothing we didn't understand. A wonderful place to stay for a week Thank you so much Scotti You have been amazing, I hope we can stay again ❤️

The apartment was very nice, the sleeping areas were very comfortable. The location was good, very close to both the downtown as well as hiking trails. Pierre was very quick to respond and friendly, and even gave good recommendations for the area. It did get quite hot in the area and the apartment got very muggy on a few nights, and I would have gladly paid more for some kind of AC. However, no air conditioning is typical for the area so it is not a knock against the apartment. On the nights where it cooled down and the windows were open the apartment was very comfortable and gave a beautiful view of the mountains. If I were to ever go back to Chamonix I would consider staying here again.

Enjoyed the stay with Nicole and Jean-Marc who were welcoming and friendly. English spoken well. Lovely location on rural farm. Enjoyed walks and experiencing historical Switzerland in this 300+ year old home. Nice breakfast, mostly homemade or locally sourced.

What an amazing place, complete with everything you could possibly need, and the best host, Bendrie - whose warm smile and friendly demeanor invites you to feel immediately at home. Mimi the cat also helped with that. The space was more than enough for 3 couples to share, buy we were only 3 in total so we enjoyed spreading out and soaking up the views from the balconies. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend the hike to Lac Taney as well, which is conveniently on your doorstep. Also, loved the drive up and down the mountain. A perfect experience for my sister and niece to experience Switzerland for the first time. Truly unforgettable.

Very well equipped, clean and well arranged accommodation. Anne-Laure's mom who welcomed us is very nice and Michka is very sweet😉. The Ligeme t was in the sector we were looking for our internship in Passy.

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. Nordic bathing is a plus. The hikes nearby are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

We had a great time. Spacious apartment for a ski home! It is located at the foot of the slopes and easy to access , very quiet residence with a great view. Lorraine was very responsive to our requests. We'll be happy to come back hoping to get some snow next time 😉 Ophelia

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

Very nice apartment with a lovely big living room and large windows. Well equipped, clean and tidy. A short walk to the Argentiere lifts, all important boulangerie and restaurants in the village. Justin was very helpful but not over the top. Recommended.
