Wonderful place and wonderfully quiet: nice space with various possibilities. Friendly hosts and very nice communication. We enjoyed this beautiful location in the middle of beautiful nature and the cozy places of the Dordogne. Recommend!

We had a great stay at the Mill. The house is beautiful and the area allows many activities. The house is very well equipped and spacious. The garden is large and the river appreciable when it's hot. And we barely saw any mosquitoes! Tom is very responsive and pleasant. Only small downsides: obscuration in light not sufficient according to our sensitivity in the rooms and light soundproofing between the floors.

We had a wonderful holiday. The gite is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could possibly need, and more. Genevieve is a warm and very helpful person. You have complete privacy, but she is always there to help if needed! We have rented many Airbnbs in the past, and this has definitely been one of the best experiences so far. We had a fantastic time here! The house is beautiful, large, clean and well equipped. The host and hostess are super friendly and helpful. They have a very discreet presence on site. The view is truly breathtaking, the area is quiet. You can walk to the village for a bakery and shop. We highly recommend this stay!!

Family weekend for the May 1st bridge a few minutes from Périgueux. Ideal! We were able to enjoy the pool and the house is really very welcoming. I highly recommend this gem not overlooked with a magnificent view. The air conditioning is the perfect little bit.

Beautiful house in fantastic surroundings. Great walks amongst the vineyards. House really clean with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Ashley responded immediately to one small problem with hot water which was rectified within a few hours. Would love to stay again.

We had a great time in this beautiful house, located in the countryside, in a totally secluded environment, without any vis-à-vis. The location, in the heart of the fields, offers absolute calm, conducive to relaxation. The house is very nice, beautifully decorated, perfectly equipped and remarkably cool in summer, which is particularly appreciated. The pool is spacious, well appointed and accompanied by all the necessary amenities to fully enjoy it. Special mention for the summer kitchen, very functional and friendly, which greatly contributed to the success of our stay. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for peace, comfort and a change of scenery.

We had a wonderful stay with our family at Château de Puymangou - a beautiful setting with fantastic gardens, and the chateau itself is full of history and character. Thierry and Bénédicte were great hosts, and we enjoyed trips to local towns and villages following their recommendations. Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to be back!

Lynn and Paul are the best!! We had lots of fun playing soccer under the sequoia, swimming in the pool and drinking the fine rose wine of the area!! I’d go back TOMORROW!!

We had a fantastic holiday with our family, the house is lovely and the outside areas in particular were wonderful and the garden is completely fenced in so perfect for young children or in our case our labradoodle! The village is stunning with all the essentials along with galleries, great bars and restaurants. Canoeing is within easy walking distance and there are some great walks right from the house. Wish we could have stayed longer!

All I can say is our stay in Jonzac at Anders house was perfect from start to finish. Anders was the perfect host and the house was absolutely perfect. We are a family of 4 and our two children loved the garden and especially the pool. Jonzac and the surrounding countryside is the perfect getaway. All the photos are accurate and in fact do the house an injustice. It is stunning. If we are ever back in this part of France we feel that this location and house is just ideal. Lovely host and lovely gîte!

We have a wonderful holiday behind us! This villa is located in a quiet forest, away from all the hustle and bustle. Here you can completely unwind. Our children mainly enjoyed the pool (no chlorine). The piano and board games are also a nice extra. The house itself is fully equipped and very well maintained, you have everything on hand. The rooms are tip top in order and very spacious. Franck and Florence will welcome you with a smile and give you a lot of tips about attractions nearby. We went back home with regret in our hearts, we'd love to come back!

The farmhouse is huge, beautiful and located in a massive garden. The house is old and might need some work, but we loved all the charm. We rented the house with 3 families (11 persons in total) and each family had it's own section of the house with private bathroom. We spend most of our days in the garden with big family dinners between the pine trees or at the pool (make sure to ask where they store the outdoor furniture). The pool is well taken care of on a daily basis. Lots of amenities, like 2 fridges, 2 dish washers, 2 coffee machines (Nespresso and filter). In the area there are small towns with bakeries, supermarkets and a wine store, but you can also buy froie gras and truffles directly from local farms. We had a wonderful time and made great memories.

Very good stay in this beautiful and AUTHENTIC family home with undeniable charm. We were 4 adults and 2 children 3/4 years old: the children loved playing in the sandpit/bocce court in the garden and the educational farm nearby, we adults we loved the large friendly kitchen and the masterful bathroom with views of the countryside. Small bonus for dishes: what a pleasure to eat on cute vintage plates! The house is very old, so it was a little wet when we arrived (no surprise given the season) but once the fireplace started and the house ventilated, everything was normal. The moment we walked into La Grenouillere, we knew we had made the perfect choice for our holiday in France. We were a party of 12 (three families) and felt we had so much space to spread out and relax, which we did so instantly. The positioning is wonderful, away from busy life, just nature and silence all around. Everything was lovely -beautiful building, large indoor living areas, wonderful outside spaces too with a fantastic pool, big enough for us all. The kitchen was well equiped for our cooking evenings, the barbeque was brilliant for outside cooking and a popular choice for all. Morning coffee on the back terrace overlooking the grounds was a great way to start the day as was sipping wine and beer sitting out the front watching the sun down and then star gazing . Playing boules on the ready made boules pitch was a highlight, so was playing cards round the kitchen table, big enough for us all. The surrounding area was beautiful and well used by us all, cycling or running on the many gravel paths criss crossing the countryside. There is plenty to do in and around the area-towns / cities to visit. We went to Angouleme and Poitiers and enjoyed eating outout and seeing the sites. We also enjoyed the canoeing at Mansle (wonderful to see the countryside from the meandering river on our 3 hour paddle), the inflatable water park near Angouleme was a big hit with our kids (big kids), as was the tree tops high ropes with us all. All in all we had an amazing experience and brilliant time. We were all very sad to leave.

What an incredible place and wonderful hosts! The gite is beautiful, well equipped and in such a peaceful setting. We loved the pool and grounds and exploring the local area. Jen and Nick were so welcoming and always on hand to provide local recommendations. We cannot wait to return!

Beautiful house, with great facilities. Lots of space for guests and a bathroom for each bedroom which was good. The kitchen was well equipped. There was air conditioning in the main rooms as well which was an unexpected treat as the weather was very warm. Lovely outside area with good sized pool, plenty of sun loungers and tables. Would definitely recommend the property.
