Unfortunately, Nicola was not on site during our stay, but thanks to her courteous, clear and friendly communication, everything went smoothly at check-in and check-out. The accommodation seems to be the chic renovated part of a former barn, with its own terrace and separate entrance door. On top of that, lovingly furnished and idyllically located at the foot of the hill of Chateauneuf. A real insider tip!

Thank you for your warm welcome and for the gifts on arrival. We had a good, very relaxing weekend and the jacuzzi is a very appreciable plus.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Marie Thérèse, a friendly and kind lady. The cottage was impeccable and we had a pleasant surprise, because it is even more beautiful than in the photos. Marie Thérèse even left us fresh eggs for breakfast. The place is full of charm, with a vegetable garden and chickens in an enclosure. It is a quiet place, close to Arnay-le-Duc, where you can find markets and other shops. The children loved the place. We intend to return to discover more of the surroundings, which we did not have time to visit because we only stayed three days. I 100% recommend it to those who love tranquility and warm comfort.

We stayed at Blandine's place to break up the drive from Calais down to the south of France. Blandine was so friendly and a great host. The apartment was very clean and newly renovated with a very well-equipped kitchen. It is worth noting that the stairs up to the apartment are quite steep and narrow, this wasn't a problem for us at all but may be tricky for guests with mobility issues or small children. The little village is absolutely gorgeous, the canal is perfect for walks and runs, and the views of the castle are stunning. there are a few small restaurants and also a spa. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer!
