We had a lovely time at Rocky Acres. Peaceful and cozy - we loved the sunroom for meals and reading and playing games. The house had everything we needed. Super close to DeSoto State Park - enjoyed being close to hikes and seeing the various waterfalls. Derek was kind, courteous, responsive and detail oriented. He was an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying at any homes hosted by him.

The Bus Stop is a very magical, enticing and wonderful place to kick back, forget about your worries & burdens. Everything about this place makes you feel at home, makes you feel comfortable and makes you feel exciting about what all The Bus Stop has to offer at your fingertips. Yoga on the rooftop. Grilling and dinner on the front deck. Firepit to sit around and look up at the stars at night. Hot dogs & smores, perfection. The yard, practically a woods sets a very charming stage. The area surrounding The Bus, very nice to walk as it’s all nature, a small black top road meanders by, very little traffic. The details inside the bus are amazing. All the woodwork and special touches add so much to your stay. Pets are welcome, we take our fur baby everywhere we go. Great pet policy. It’s a real “feel good” vibe. Didn’t want to leave! We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb. The space was incredibly spacious, clean, and had a warm, homey feel that made us feel comfortable right away. There was so much to do both in the house and in the surrounding area — it made for a perfect getaway. Easily one of the better Airbnbs we’ve stayed in for a while. We’d absolutely love to return in the future. Highly recommend!

Trudy’s home on the lake was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I for the long weekend. Close proximity to a lot of natural beauty with waterfalls and hiking trails. It’s also right on the lake and I loved spending an afternoon in my hammock on the dock. The bugs stayed away until the sun started going down! This older home has lots of natural charm with sweet homey touches like extra quilts and lots of classic floral decor! I wouldn’t recommend bringing small children because there are several (adorable) decorative elements that might be prone to breakage and there is nothing preventing access to the lake once outside.
