House holiday rentals in Chetco River

Great location for visiting the redwoods. Big kitchen with lots of extras. We loved the fire pit in the nicely landscaped back yard. Nice family time in the back yard at night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There was clearly so much thoughtfulness and care that went into designing this beautiful home. We loved the saltwater pool after a long day of exploring all that the area has to offer. The comfortable furnishings and clean design was perfect for a relaxing stay. We’ll definitely plan another visit in the future!

This place is like being at home. This rental had EVERYTHING you could image and then more. The kitchen was sticked with all utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, plates and mugs. We went crabbing, and they even had all of the tools for digging the crab meat out of the shell. The garage and games room was a BIG hit for our boys. We spent every night playing games together. The pool room was tricky to find at first, but we eventually found it. At first, I thought we had walked into the wrong house because it looked very different than the photos on the website. It turns out that the place has been recently remodeled...and looks even better than the photos online. Overall, its a gem of a place...and we would love visit again.

Such an intimate experience! Cindy’s place is remarkably clean and the views are insane. Views from the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and living room….nothing like it. It’s a very serene environment so loud guests would not be recommended plus the owners live upstairs so if you are looking for complete privacy this is not for you.

The Beach House in Brookings is a great place to stay! We felt so comfortable from the second we walked through the door, and even before! Shannon is a fantastic host! The house is set up with everything you might possibly need if you decide to stay in. Toys for kids, games for all ages, reading materials, snacks and coffee, even shopping bags! The house has great beached themed decor and looks beautiful, while at the same time feeling really cozy and livable. I'd highly recommend the Beach House to anyone!

Usually when we travel we book an Airbnb. They are usually pretty good, but I’m always glad to come home and have my own comforts. That was not the case here. Every single comfort was thought through. The bed was so comfortable. It was better than my own. The coffee had a coffee pot and a Keurig, which melted my heart. They provided creamer and coffee pods. In the bathroom, they provided conditioner shampoo, body wash. The washer and dryer closet provided washer pods. In the bathroom there was a little cabinet with comforts that you might not have packed like Q-tips Band-Aids, lotion, extra toothbrush, in case you need it. There was a massage chair in the living room. Not to mention the incredible views over the river. We were visited by deer every day and their baby! The birds were chirping and singing all day every day. It was the most fantastic stay I’ve ever had. I was so sad to leave!! I will definitely be back!!

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to celebrate our 30th anniversary than at The Brown’s River’s End Beach Retreat! 2 weeks in this incredible space was an absolute dream! We appreciated being greeted by the vibrant orchids as well as all the other plush and welcoming touches strategically placed for our use and enjoyment. This home & property are so clean & well taken care of! The surroundings are even more stunning in person! Just sitting on the deck overlooking the river running into the ocean is an experience in and of itself! And having the whole private property to ourselves was icing on the cake! Mark is so laid back and easy to communicate with! The daily visits from the Steller’s Jay, the harbor seals hard at play, the whales playing where the river meets the sea, and the dusk visit by a family of river otters were all epic highlights! This is by far our most favorite place to stay in Gold Beach and we’ll definitely be returning!

Beautiful and spotlessly clean home on Gold Beach. We wish we had more time to spend here. Great communication, easy check-in/out. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This place was stunning, inside and outside. It is in a secluded and safe area. House was super clean, beds were comfortable, showers were so nice. The host was super quick and responsive to messages. We highly recommend this place and hope we can come back sooner rather than later!

We loved our time at this AirBNB! It's just across the street from a public area where you can view the ocean from the top of the cliffs and there are beaches a few minutes drive in either direction. The house was clean and spacious for 7 of us with everything we needed for our visit to the Redwoods and the Oregon Coast. The small hot tub in the sunroom was nice at the end of the day, and they included details like towels for the hot tub, board games, detergent, extra blankets, etc. It's an older home that has been nicely renovated, with thoughtful additions. The kids wanted to stay at the house as much as possible. We would love to come back!

Home is very comfortable and quiet. This home is not oceanfront property. It is up a mountain with ocean views. We knew that when we reserved, so we were happy with the accomodations. Beautiful views and hummingbirds galore playfully fly to grab nectar from the many flowers. If you are going to cook, there is an induction burner. Also there is a small toaster oven. The refrigerator is small, but does the job. You can make ice. Beware because that the back freezes, so don't put eggs or anything else that will spoil if frozen towards the back of it. There is also a larger toaster oven for baking and broiling but we didnt find it suitable for usage. A microwave, toaster, and blender are also available. Host provided some water, snacks, and coffee which was very kind. Host is communicative. We had a minor hiccup on our third day and it was dealt with swiftly. We recommend using the airbnb app to communicate when an issue arises. We also recommend the Rogue river day trip. Amazing!!

Kelly and Sandi’s cabin was wonderful! The location was convenient and accessible for exploring the Redwoods and surrounding areas. The cabin was clean, the linens were soft and cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Even the outside air was relaxing (lol)— in the mornings and especially evenings, the cedars on the property were so pleasantly fragrant. My mom in particular couldn’t stop raving about the cabin. Additionally, Kelly was proactive, responsive, and clear in her communication throughout the process, making us feel at ease in our cross-country travels. Thanks again Kelly and Sandi!!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—close to downtown, shops, groceries, and an easy walk to Harris Beach. There were also lots of beautiful trails and stunning viewpoints nearby. The home itself was even better than expected. The ocean views from nearly every room were incredible. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, grilling on the ocean-facing deck, and enjoyed the pool table. There was also a poker table and various card and board games. TVs and Alexa devices were great bonuses. I particularly loved the stylish mid-century modern decor with tasteful Asian accents. It's clear the owner put a lot of care into preserving the charm of this 1940’s home, balancing sustainability and comfort beautifully. A big thanks to the hosts for making our stay so memorable. We wish we could've stayed longer and definitely hope to return. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing coastal getaway!

We had a memorable stay. The house is very tastefully decorated and the kitchen is especially exceptional. From first aid to spices from all over the world, it is one of the best stocked kitchens we have experienced. The beds were very comfortable and appreciate the little touches. The view was amazing and the pictures don’t do justice. Loved the fact that you can see the ocean from all the rooms upstairs and loved the skylight in two of the bathrooms. We made some memorable memories, and Holly was very responsive, even when we had an emergency after hours. Would highly recommend staying here.

My first impression of the house was how clean it was, and then, the calming and cute ocean decor. The living room was very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and then some, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of towels in the bathroom as well as a hair dryer. Using Connie's recommendations as a guide, we visited restaurants and the beach several times. It is a great combination of peace and quiet, and also restaurants, the beach and other attractions (Trees of Mystery!) within close proximity. The house was perfect for my husband and I on a quiet get-away, but it could be perfect for a family vacation also. Connie always responded quickly when I messaged her with a question, and was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Dawson's Landing. You'll have a great time!

The house was clean and very well stocked - the owners thought of everything. We didn’t use the guest house or yoga hut but they were very cute and clean. If you plan to use the guest house, there are lots of skylights so it will likely be an early wake up with the amount of light coming in. The river isn’t easy to access - it starts with steps but then progresses to overgrown slippery rocks straight down to the water. Overall, we wished we could have spent more time at the house - the outdoor deck and fire pit area were so inviting! It was a great stay!
