Waterfront holiday rentals in Chincoteague

We went to Southern Maryland to celebrate our 44th Wedding Anniversary as it was where we met back in high school. We were greeted at Tom & Michele’s place with a sweet chalkboard message, flowers and a nice little cake to help us feel special and celebrated. That was very kind. Their apartment is extremely clean and very comfortable. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. We didn’t need help with navigating the area as we grew up there so we spent most of our time visiting places from our youth. Tom & Michele reached out to us during our visit to make sure we were doing okay. We are quiet people and don’t require a lot of assistance so it was nice to be asked but we were good. For us it was nice to have a chance to spend quiet time alone together and Tom & Michele gave us that. Should we find ourselves back in Southern MD we would definitely stay there again. The Fish House is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! My husband & I found it to be quite spacious for 2 people. The location was perfect; we were there from Sunday-Wednesday, and it was quiet and peaceful the whole time. It was conveniently located to Irvington, White Stone and Kilmarnock and all those towns have to offer! The A/C is brand new, and very effective against the Virginia heat and humidity. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing food, and we appreciated the coffee & tea supplies that were provided! The bed is comfortable and we slept well. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the water. As a bird watcher, it was so relaxing to view the local wildlife with the binoculars provided. Michelle is a wonderful host! Her instructions are clear, and checking in and out was easy. She also answered all our questions promptly, and thoroughly. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway on the Northern Neck, stay at The Fish House!

Our second time here! An absolutely adorable gem of an Airbnb with the nicest hosts and most beautiful garden and dock on the River! Great restaurant recommendations, super comfortable beds, and lovely living room. Perfect for families visiting the beloved St. Mary’s River.

Beautiful views of ocean from large sliding doors to patio! Clean house good value responsive host! Would stay here again.

Bernadette's place is a fantastic getaway - very peaceful. The place is exactly as described. I thoroughly enjoyed the use of Bernadett 's kayak and paddle board (as well as walking ans running in her neighborhood and visiting Bethel Beach). I'd love to come back another time!

Just got back from a week in Ocean City at Jimmy's place and it was fantastic! Great location, easy access to beach, nice pool and friendly/helpful staff on-site. As for Jimmy, he was incredibly responsive leading up to our stay and when we discovered upon our arrival that a couple light bulbs were out/missing, he came early the next morning and fixed them on the spot. We really appreciated his responsiveness and delightful manner. The condo is as-advertised and a great place to stay to enjoy Ocean City. We would gladly rent from Jimmy again in the future.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in OCMD. The condo itself is beautiful, updated, clean and well stocked from the kitchen to beach chairs and toys! The balcony is huge and easily fits 5-6 people for morning coffee or late night drinks. The location of the unit is also a huge plus. The beach is much less crowded and quieter than further south. Amenities like the boardwalk are a quick drive or bus ride away. Reann is an amazing host and ensures you have a great stay!

Jennifer's pictures and descriptions are truly accurate. We enjoyed our stay and saw many birds around the water that we don't see in Ohio-bring binoculars if you're a bird person! The kids (and parents) loved the foosball table and pop a shot.

We visited Southern Maryland for a family wedding. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Beds are comfy, house comfy, and they thought of the little things like : a full sized ironing board & Iron, beach towels, good soaps, and all you need for s’mores!Their welcome handbook was very detailed. Our only regret was that we could not spend more time on the property itself (because of family events). Would have loved to use the kayaks and the fire pit. My brother did use hot tub. Great stay! Highly recommend

My mom, sisters, friends and I enjoyed a relaxing fun filled time at the Coastal Oasis at the Chesapeake for our Mother's Day Retreat. The view is amazing and truly can be seen from every room in the house! Being able to see the beauty and calmness of the water helped each of us kick back and let the stress melt away. The big dinning room table allowed all of us all to enjoy breakfasts, dinners and touching conversations together. My guests loved the décor and raved about every detail. The beds and furniture were comfortable and house clean. I would definitely come back!

Beautiful spot! Great location, close to all the happenings of Ocean City, but peaceful and quiet at the house…perfect set up. Great neighborhood. The house is beautiful, all the beds very comfortable. The back deck is gorgeous, thoroughly enjoyed that space and taking the kayaks out on the canal! It’s worth bringing your own linens and towels, we packed everything into a large tote and it worked out perfectly. Very responsive and friendly host! We had a great time here and plan to return. Highly recommend!

Scott and Melinda's place was perfect for a peaceful getaway for our family of 5. The water was so nice to wake up to and fall asleep hearing the water move by! The thought of all the basic needs and had everything easily accessible from fresh eggs from their chickens, a great variety of coffee pods and creamer, and all the other small needs that come up while staying in an airbnb. This was great since it is off the beaten path. If you are looking for some peaceful family time or a secluded retreat with friends, this is a perfect place!

Wonderful accommodations for a relaxing visit to a beautiful island!

My partner and I picked this spot because it would accommodate us and her daughter and son in law and grandkids. The house was great, plenty of room for everyone. It’s a beautiful spot, right on the water just a few hundred yards from the bay. We will definitely be back.

Bao was prompt at responding to questions. The home was immaculately clean and much more spacious than appeared in the photos. The price was worth what we paid. My family and I were quite comfortable and we appreciated the starter items included with the rental. There were ample cooking utensils and the appliances were clean and in excellent condition. We travelled from out of state and brought a suitcase with our own linen. Not ideal, but this was a much more financially prudent option than paying the linen providers $190.00 for sheets and towels. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bao’s rental. We were close to restaurants and the beach and had a view of the water. We highly recommend this property.

We loved staying at Heathers place. Very comfortable and felt like home. We really appreciated the Welcome book she provided which gave us all kinds of recommendations for food, drink and activity. We will be coming back!

Amazing views! We watched the sunrise over the ocean from bed. The bathrooms are small with not much room to store your toiletries, but otherwise the space was great for my partner & I. We had a wonderful stay!

My husband and I decided to go on a getaway last minute. We found Seth’s place and were able to book the unit for the days we had available. It was great and met all of our expectations. We have been to OC and Fenwick many times and knew this is where we wanted to stay. It did not disappoint and we hope to rent again in the near future.

Really enjoyed our stay at Stephanie's. Awesome condo that was clean, comfortable and roomy. Wonderful views from Living Room, Balcony and Master Bedroom. Close enough to the water to hear the waves breaking. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Definitely hope to be back!

This is my favorite place to stay in OC and I have been coming here for over 20 years. Great location, family friendly, Betty is a super host! Will keep coming here year after year!

We had a wonderful stay at Liz’s studio. Perfect location on the boardwalk and beautiful view of the beach! The condo was just right for us. It was, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. And Liz was very responsive with our questions. We hope to come back soon!
