We stayed for a couple of nights while visiting for a friends wedding. Lovely, clean and very spacious property. Thank you!

We spent a fabulous couple of days at The Forge. The place is as described - very comfortable and fully equipped for an escape to the countryside. We loved the thoughtful welcome basket of goodies too. Set in extensive grounds and with plenty of local walking, it was a chance to completely unwind and relax. A big thank you to Mel, the property manager, who provided full and clear information and was friendly and responsive to our queries.

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. As you'd expect, not a lot of entertainment immediately locally outside of the house other than walks (be warned footpaths are not maintained and impassible in places) but you don't book a place like this if you want hustle and bustle. Pool, hot tub and fire pit all great. Games room is in a separate building to the main house and so wasn't used as much as perhaps otherwise could have. Hosts are great and very welcoming, but they do live right next door which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't a big issue for us and we were left to our own devices. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Hosts very accommodating if required and good communication 👍

Beautiful property. The house is huge—we joked that we probably wouldn’t use all of the rooms—but we did. The whole experience felt luxurious—seriously, a pool? We had trouble with the sauna—better directions would be helpful—but the issue was addressed speedily. And I don’t know why people complain about the lumber yard; we noticed nothing. Hats off to Phoebe and Jan!

What a beautiful place to stay. We weee so lucky there was a last minute opening to book as it is usually booked up (we heated from Sally the host). Stunningly decorated, well equipped, incredibly peaceful and stunning surroundings. An incredibly helpful host. The swimming pool was an added luxury. Definitely returning for more getaways here.

Beautiful clean & comfortable accommodation in gorgeous gardens. Very peaceful but lots to see & do within a short drive. Lovely bottle of wine on arrival & fresh milk for a much needed cup of tea 🙂. Emma was friendly & called in to check everything was ok but left us to ourselves although she was nearby if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend The Bothy for a relaxing stay. Thank you

Lovely little get away for us and the doggy. Nice to be away from a busy road, so peaceful and quiet.

We have just got home after a delightful weekend stay at the Granary hosted by Clare & Alex. We were in the area for the 'Springtime in Shropshire' orienteering weekend so arrived at the Granary after the first race in the evening. The directions were good and specific and we were able to get the keys out of the key safe and get straight in. The house was lovely, nicer than the pictures and equipped with everything we needed. Immaculate bathroom and lots of piping hot water. Although the weather was a little blustery we even got to sit outside for a little while on Sunday afternoon after the race before we went inside to cook dinner and relax in front of the TV. Overall, a lovely place to stay, we had a great weekend. Many thanks.

The pictures don't do the cottage, justice. It's the biggest bedroom we've ever stayed in! It's a lovely, quiet area, with great views from the windows. It's centrally located for Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth, both of which are well worth visiting. Easy parking, which is always a bonus.

It was a great place, well located for Shrewsbury town centre with a pleasant walk along the river to get there. I would definately stay here again. Note: finding the property can be tricky when following 'sat nav', and working out how to reverse a car into the off-road drive required a bit of strategic thought, but that all seemed to add to the experience! We only have one complaint ….. we wish we could have stayed longer!!! Fantastic place which is extremely well equipped. Ana, Ed and family were really welcoming, friendly and available for advice without being intrusive. Great place would recommend for a quiet get away and base to explore the area. Great walking from the doorstep. We hope to return👍

Everything about our stay with Ben and Vicky was brilliant. Vicky is the most delightful host. (We didn't meet Ben.) We had lovely chats with her, she was so helpful and very accommodating and understanding particularly around being clear about the use of chemicals in the cleaning product as one of us has chemical sensitivities. The location is gorgeous. The cottage itself beautiful, tastefully decorated, comfortable and pristine. I can't say enough wonderful things about the place and the people. Thank you so much Vicky - It was an absolute delight.

We had a brilliant weekend at Batchcott Hall, the house itself was beautiful and felt a lot bigger than the photos! Everything was clean and in good condition, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and there was a variety of garden games to keep everyone entertained. There are neighbours close to the house (as advertised) but we didn’t have any issues with them in our stay. We also had a takeaway delivered by Ramna Balti (it was tricky to find who would deliver) and would recommend as well. Overall a fabulous house for any occasion, would really recommend!

A fantastic stay in Shrewsbury! The house was really clean and cosy and a great location for shopping and restaurants.

My stay at Jonathan's was fantastic, he is a very kind and hospitable host. He provided many local recommendations for eateries and has a folder full of sightseeing (and history) in the surrounding area. The accommodation is cosy, very clean and had everything we needed. It is a very peaceful location where you can enjoy the sound of the countryside (plus a little car traffic but nothing that disturbs you). Thank you so much for hosting us!

Absolutely fantastic home and amazing hosts! The house is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you could ever need with such stunning surroundings! The hosts were brilliant, always responsive and happy to help! They gave fantastic recommendations for places to go locally and we're just all round perfect! The whole experience felt super easy and laid back and overall just the most amazing place to get some peace and quiet in the countryside! If Air B&B would let me give higher than 5* I would! 1000/10 will be coming back. Perfect experience all round!

Wow! - what an absolute gem. The Old Stable was the most idyllic, relaxing place to stay. James made us feel so welcome and was so helpful, giving great local pub/restaurant recommendations. We also asked for recommendations for walks in the area, which James was very knowledgeable about. We had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend this lovely place. We will definitely be back.

Having stayed here previously, it was the first place I looked to book when staying in the area again. Hosts were responsive on messages and instructions were clear and helpful. They let me check in early of which was really helpful. Lovely little place, great amenities and very homely. Great value and a charming little stay. Would highly recommended if in there area and looking for a good value place to stay. Would highly recommend. 👍👍

Brilliant stay! The house was bigger than expected with a lovely large garden. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and was helpful in providing lots of information about the location. The house is in a lovely quiet location with a short drive from Ludlow. Ludlow is beautiful and would highly recommend. Overall, a great air bnb and would highly recommend.

We spent 4 nights in Clun, the accommodation was excellent, just what we needed after a hard day walking, nice pub in the village for evening meals, plus a couple of cafes.... very peaceful location and it was a joy to hear bell practice from the church one evening. Great place 👌

A lovely place to stay in a perfect location right in the middle of Ludlow. We felt really at home and comfortable as well as being stylish and interesting to stay in. Annie gave us loads of recommendations which were great and meant we had four really great days. Thanks so much.
