Kokomo, unique fitties holiday chalet

At the end of an unmade sandy lane at the back of the sand dunes, you will find Kokomo. Black shiplap boards clad it’s walls, under a gently sloping felt roof, this little cabin hunkers down on the edge of the sea in its garden of wild, prickly, yet aromatic plants that are toughened by the sparse pumice-like soil, and the salt-laden winds. A bit log cabin, a bit ‘Scandi’, a lot ‘us’, this is our bolt hole, at the edge of the world.

A double room and bunk room will comfortably accommodate four guests and there is a fully equipped kitchen. Owned by local artist Sarah, whose artwork is displayed in each of the rooms. This is a characterful chalet with a large enclosed garden.
