17th century country cottage with fabulous views

Newgate cottage is a charming newly renovated historic 17th century Norfolk flint cottage. Located next to the grade 1 listed St Margaret's church, it has fabulous views of the church and over the green. It is a short walk from the village centre with its famous deli, pottery, smoke house , cafe and windmill. The 3 swallows pub is 20m away and the Wiveton Bell is a 10 minute walk away. A 5 minute drive to the beach gives access to world class birdwatching and the seal colony at Blakeney Point.

Birdwatchers Retreat in Cley: annexe for one guest

Enjoy a relaxing stay half a mile from Cley Marshes (Norfolk Wildlife Trust) visitor centre and a mile from the sea. It is an ideal location for bird watchers, walkers and cyclists. This warm and comfortable well presented modern refurbished small annexe (one guest only) benefits from en-suite shower room, independent access, outside seating area/patio and secure parking on site. Free use of fast Wi-Fi. Bike storage. My daughter Rachel and myself are happy to reply to any queries.

Self-contained unit with en-suite in quiet locale

Charming bedroom with super-king sized bed with ensuite bathroom and large comfortable kitchen. Cley is a bird watcher's paradise as it is on a number of migratory routes. The area is fantastic for walking. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, this accommodation is now self-contained with full and sole use of the attached kitchen, which has its own private entrance door. The hand-over will be contactless. We are ensuring that there is a two day gap between bookings to allow for a deep clean.

There is off street parking on the drive, a private gated front entrance and patio. Patio doors from the living room open to private west facing patio. The Stables is a lovely space located within the grounds of our farmhouse. It is a short walk away from Weybourne beach, The Ship Inn, the Maltings hotel and our village cafe and shop. Close by is the beautiful Georgian town of Holt, the coastal town of Sheringham and Sheringham Park. We are located just off the North Norfolk coast road, very convenient for Blakeney, Cromer, Holkham and Wells Next the Sea. The perfect location for a stay in North Norfolk!
