Herons is totally unique, a beautiful detached lodge situated on the banks of the River Thames. Beautiful interiors and the views are simply wonderful from sunrise to sunset. Herons is the perfect place to unwind and relax, just sit and watch the wildlife and the boats milling along the river. Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

The apartment is only a short walk away from Wallingford town centre yet the village offers its own rural charm. The newly refurbished The Bell pub, offers a great selection of ales, wines and food and is within walking distance. IMPORTANT: ******* Check in, from 2 pm. Please do not arrive any earlier without first consulting us AirBnB will implement a hefty service fee for all hosts from 25 April, hence the price jump. Fully wheelchair accessible & with private parking this unique property is the perfect place for a few days away walking in the nearby Chilterns, exploring Oxford’s Colleges & Cafes, visiting Art & Literary Fairs or attending appointments at Oxford’s many leading hospitals.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Nestled alongside the meandering river Thames in the south Oxfordshire countryside you’ll find Dorchester. Steeped in history, once a bustling Roman town and a prominent route for pilgrims. We are situated right on the edge of the village; no where near busy roads so it’s blissfully quiet - just the sheep in the field and the church bells. We have some lovely pubs and a great farm shop selling local produce. And Oxford is only 15 mins away!

Our private and modern Studio, in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside. Situated in the picturesque village of Dorchester-on-Thames, known for its quaint country cottages and historical Abbey, featured in the series 'Midsomer Murders'. You will have access to beautiful walking routes, including the Thames Path, with Oxford city centre only 10 miles away with direct bus routes in walking distance from the Studio. A self contained studio space, with private parking and modern features.

A country hideout above our detached oak framed barn. Stylishly furnished in a rustic luxury theme ensuring this retreat ticks all boxes to make your stay comfortable & cosy! Very spacious and an ideal place to come and relax for a romantic countryside break. Fantastic pub in the neighbouring village that serves food most days (please check) and there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves. Easy access to Oxfordshire best countryside walks too.

Modern studio with comfy Ikea bed, fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is free wifi and full Sky TV with Netflix. There is also full central heating. The studio is in a beautiful rural location well away from our historic house. So visitors may come and go as they please. There is ample parking directly in front of the studio. We are 10 minutes drive from Didcot Parkway station.

Our newly renovated self contained studio is attached to our home and is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of clifton Hampden. We are a five minute walk from the Thames footpath which is perfect for enjoying this beautiful stretch of the river either towards Wallingford or Oxford. The studio has an equipped kitchen area and separate shower room. There is parking and the studio has its own separate entrance. The decor is modern and clean with a cosy ambiance.

Your welcome pack includes milk, tea & coffee, and breakfast items.

The Cabin

Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life? Or just need a change of scenery? Our cosy and romantic Cabin nestled at the top of our Cottage garden could be just what you need. Overlooking beautiful Dorchester Abbey in the heart of the South Oxfordshire countryside. The Cabin is situated at the centre of the historic village of Dorchester-on-Thames. One well behaved dog is welcome too to explore The Thames path, Wittenham clumps and the nearby Chilterns.

The Pool House

Relax and reset at the Pool House. The Pool House provides a quiet location where you can relax away from the world. Swim in our pool, heated during the warmer months. During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.
