Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cliftonville

We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. The lodge was ideally located for our visit, it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The beach and eateries are about 10 minute walk. We went to Broadstairs and Ramsgate, which are close by, both very nice, although we did prefer Broadstairs. Our host Ryan and Ramona were very accommodating and attentive, excellent hosts.

Stewart's house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The location was very central and close to the old town and attractions. Stewart's communication was excellent. Overall an excellent stay. Thank you Stewart

Fantastic house for a family or group stay. Everything was as described and the location is great. You can walk everywhere. The views from the house are also lovely. There were lots of little personal touches as well, such a package of essentials like eggs, milk, bread and even a bottle of bubbles to enjoy. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert's amazing pad on the waterfront - the apartment is stunning and perfectly located for easy access to beaches, Margate's best pub, restaurants etc. The only negative (which echoes some of the other reviews below) is that this place really could do with some proper blinds in summer. With only net curtains in the bedrooms, we struggled to get a full night's sleep as the rooms got very hot and bright as soon as the sun came up at 4.30am. In lieu of this, make sure you pack an eye mask and perhaps a portable fan! Otherwise, a really lovely place to make your own while exploring Margate's many charms :)

Lovely spacious cottage matching description and photos. Town centre so easily walkable to the beach, high street and Deal’s many restaurants and bars. Janey’s cottage has everything you’d need if you want to cook, and the back garden is a lovely private sheltered space to spend time outdoors. Communication from Janey was friendly and helpful and it was easy to check in via the lockbox.

Charming little air bnb in an amazing location. Under 5 mins from beautiful Margate beach, but on a quiet side street. The property is a cosy, little 2 bed house. Homely and uncluttered. Even has a little, covered courtyard style garden for chillin' (and drying wet swimming trunks). The hosts, Zack & Georgia, were friendly, super helpful and polite. They always replied very quickly and you got the feeling nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The house even has free parking adjacent to the property. Which is super helpful, as anyone travelling with young children knows you tend to pack half the house. We'd def stay in this little gem of a find again and would highly recommend. We had such an amazing stay! This was our first family seaside holiday with our 18 month old daughter. She was comfortable as soon as she got to the property and there was a lot there for her. The house was clean and tidy and exactly as described, in a great location and peaceful too. We can’t wait to stay here again :)

I think this is my fourth stay in this lovely flat. It’s the perfect place to stay. In a peaceful part of town with the most amazing views and, if you are lucky, the most extraordinary sunsets over the sea. If you are a swimmer it has the extra benefit of being very close to the stunning Walpole Bay sea pool. Swimming there are sunset is a wonderful experience.

It was our first time in Margate, and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay! Super close from the station, you’re right in the action and couldn’t be any closer to the beach! The flat itself is great, had everything we needed to be comfortable for a long weekend. The host was responsive and very proactive throughout our stay. We’re already planning for our next stay in Margate!

We really enjoyed staying in Liana and Clive's flat. It was really clean and had everything that we needed. The garden was great for our 2 year old. The location is amazing! It's directly opposite a beautiful sandy beach, with other nearby sandy beaches easily accessible by foot or by car. Broadstairs is less than 10 mins drive away. We had two cars between us so luckily we were able to use the neighbour's space too throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

I cannot imagine a better place to stay! It is perfectly located, close to the museum and pretty bay, cafes and train station. I preferred to eat in for my stay. The Aldi is nearby and all of the cooking supplies present. I spent many an hour seated near the bay window enjoying the sunrise, sunset and view of the sea. I will book here again should I return to Margate. Plenty of room for more than myself next time.

Kat’s place located centrally and perfectly for reaching all famous restaurants, vintage market, museums, cafes, especially for its spectacular framed sea view.

We had a short 4 night break at Walpole Heights to get away from London and switch off from work. The apartment was immaculately presented and a great spot to access the beach and local area. Free on-street parking right outside the apartment for the two cars was also useful. The apartment is spacious and tasefully decorated. We (including the dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. At night it is very quiet. On arrival we went across the road to the Walpole Bay Hotel and sat on the terrace for afternoon tea. A perfect location!

We were down to see family and meet our new great Nephew 💙but we also went out drinking ,beers,coffee shops browsing,afternoon music and amazing weather,The apartment was gorgeous,everything we needed and it was clean

Great property. Pics don’t do it justice. We really felt at home. Super close to the beach and park for the dogs. So many amenities, even a spare toothbrush - which i had forgotten at home. Thank you for having us.

We really enjoyed staying in Julia’s lovely and stylish flat. It easily slept us four adults and our three toddlers and the amenities were very clean and nice. Julia was very proactive and helpful before and after check-in and full of good recommendations.

Sara’s flat is beautiful with incredible views over the harbour, particularly at sunset. It is ideally situated within Margate old town, with easy access to many fantastic restaurants and bars.

Great stay at Brad’s flat. Well equipped including kitchen staples, soap and shower in the bathroom! Really comfy beds, so many interesting features. Loved playing board games and the play station was very popular! Popular with our 12 and 14 year old boys. Lots to do in surrounding areas, easy walk into Margate by the sea. Brad is a great host, really friendly and responsive. Thanks for a great stay!
