Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure...

Home with a view, large property & balcony

Our two adjoining vacation homes, each for four people, are located in Kalenborn, near Kaiseresch in the Volcanic Eifel. On the 800 square meter property, overlooking a lot of nature, you can really enjoy your stay. With 80 square meters of living space and a large kitchen, the vacation home offers enough space for 4 adults, or 2 adults and up to three children. There is an electric grill on the large balcony. You are also welcome to bring your four-legged friends.

Another highlight is the Maarstollen, which opened in 2023. With a length of 124 m, you can quickly hike from one maar to another and at the same time stand in the middle of the volcano. We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. The modern holiday apartment "Mosel tales" was refurbished in 2021 and is the perfect place to experience a unique holiday at the Mosel valley. The spacious house can accommodate families and groups with up to 9 people. With its 5 bedrooms (2x double, 1x single), 4,5 bathrooms (3x en suite) and a large living room it offers both, enough space to enjoy time together or the space to find private space to rest.

Historic Skipper House in Old Town

Enjoy a journey back in time! The two medieval skipper's houses are located directly on the old market square and are connected inside. Each room has its own modern bathroom! You can relax under large lime trees after a hike on the Rheinsteig and sample the town's excellent wines. The holiday flat is also very conveniently located for attending a concert on the Loreley open-air stage!

House in the middle of the historical center of Kaisersesch. From here you can quickly reach many great sights, such as the Moselle or the Nürburgring. Around the Eifelhaus there are grocery stores, a local museum, small boutiques and a large playground. The Eifelhaus offers enough space for up to 4 people.
