Beautiful, clean cabin with all listed amenities. Spacious with plenty of sleeping and bathroom space. Fully stocked efficient kitchen. Hottub works and is very roomy. Peaceful woodland scenery. Neighbors seemed visually curious about us.

An absolutely perfect retreat cabin! It is very remote, super quiet, and tucked deep within trees. The kitchen is one of the most stocked ones I've ever been in, with all of the appliances, pots, pans, measuring cups, and more. (Some Airbnbs are minimally stocked, but this one felt like a real kitchen!) The sectional couch was SO comfortable! The cabin featured lots of decks and outdoor space with great furniture to lounge on. There were little light catchers everywhere so when the sun streamed through the high windows, they would cast little rainbows all over the room, which added to the excellent ambiance. The back porch doors had screens in them so we could have them open during the day to listen to nature, but not have any of the bugs come in, which was such a plus! The perfect nature retreat to get away from the busy world and just ~relax~

Pete recommended this place after another listing was booked. It was beautiful and very private and quiet. Over looks the mountains, gorgeous fire pit, just enough for a little camping adventure. Location is great for hiking. Great trails only 20-30 minutes away.

It was a great place. Nice field in front with a playground across the way. Charlie the pup. which was very friendly, came to visit our camp fire and hung around for a bit. We will book again.

The space was wonderful, very clean, amazing view. Meant a lot for my partner and I to have such a relaxing stay that was close but far enough away from Pittsburgh to leave our troubles behind. Guide book was very helpful for us to find the perfect hike in cook national forest. Grocery stores close by and grilling was really fun! The hot tub was perfect in size and cleanliness. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time! if you wanna get away this is the place to go, such a comfortable environment on top of the mountain with a view to see from inside by the fire or in your hot tub. They had firewood available near camp site as well as washer and dryers. We’ll be back !

A bit out of the way is where you stay and back beyond the gate. A quaint cabin full of glass more windows could open but that will pass. The beauty and space will surprise the eyes. It fills your mind with the beautiful scenery and is well worth the wait. Pass the porch with the picnic table and see all of the nests of the birds before. Look up to see a few more in nooks and crannies; even above the door. The Cardinal will remind you of your neighbors and will greet you upon the lights first rays. That won't be soon. You have your day of play on the rocks and the fire will set your night ablaze. Inside this home cozy and warm sometimes too warm because of the gas wood burning stove. All is provided for and shared between owner and guest of past each need thought of like a claim comfy in a cove. The wood for your fire, the butter for your toast. The coffee the tea the water you need most. The space for your dog and child to play, a couch and TV for when that fades away. Yours fortoday

Beautiful cabin in a quiet setting. The area was peaceful and relaxing but close to local attractions. Hostess was very responsive and the decor was beautiful!

Great child-friendly base-camp within an hour's drive of everything outdoors! Allegheny Reservoir, Kinzua Dam/Kinzua Bridge, Jakes Rocks, Rimrock, Hearts Content, Tionesta Creek, Cooks Forest, Clear Creek Forest (and of course, Bear Creek Winery!). Cabin has plenty of space for a family of four and all of the amenities you could want or need (washer & dryer, full kitchen, gas grill, wifi etc). This was our second stay and it is quite likely that we'll be writing a third review next year! Thanks to the hosts for sharing.

Sara fully described the property in an accurate description. It is very rustic and takes you back to an old era in mountain cabins. Clean and comfortable but you are in the woods and an encounter with a critter could be expected. The view from the front porch is picturesque and an outstanding place to sit in the morning with your coffee and relax in the evening with that bowl of popcorn. Any problem we had was addressed quickly and to our satisfaction.

Private, great views, peaceful, great if you like to enjoy nature, but the drive way is a bit steep but there are two with one being much easier to get to over to, overall a great place to go enjoy nature

We had such a great stay at this cozy cabin during a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, just minutes from great hiking trails, shops, and the river. Everything we wanted to explore was close by. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Doug and Stephanie were wonderful hosts with great communication and helpful info. Thanks again for a nice stay!

We had a beautiful stay, we loved the cabin and had every amenity we needed! Truly, the only downside was a smell of natural gas that was all through the area and not the fault of Norm and Janelle obviously! We definitely plan to go back!

The cabin was in great shape. The hosts even went out and bought some toys for the kids to play with. Great hosts and a great experience all around. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Great stay for my family of five! My husband, our two littles, and our pup wanted a last minute weekend getaway and Richard made everything so easy! From flexible check in, to prompt communication, he was great to work with. The place was quiet, felt so homey, and had EVERYTHING you could want. Richard even set up a pack and play for our daughter so we didn’t have to bring one. Close to a lot of trails but nothing directly walkable from the house, and most attractions and stores were closed off season, but would be great to come back to in the spring or summer.

The photos don’t do this place justice. It was one of the most beautiful airbnbs I’ve been. It has a picturesque scenery. The house itself was spotless, smelled nice, very clean, and the beds were so comfortable! I forgot coffee creamer and Molly had creamer packets stocked in the mini fridge. Everything was perfect. The water was beautiful and clear. Bring water shoes! The water is very tempting to get into and water shoes would be ideal so you don’t slip or hurt your feet. My dogs enjoyed the water and so did our 3 year old son. We will definitely be back! We are already looking into dates for our next trip.

We had the pleasure of staying here for a week. This place is a gem. We caught some fish and saw many different birds. The place was very clean and we appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds! If you like the outdoors this is definitely a place to stay. Soooo comfortable and peaceful. If you are looking for a retreat - this lovely, comfortable cabin is not to be beat. We enjoyed sleeping in, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and exploring Allegheny National forest.

Beautiful cabin! Amazing location with incredible view!

This is a really nice place to stay. Maybe one of the better places that I have stayed in this area. Very clean. Only problem there was concerned getting the oven to work. Had to really smash down on the bake button to get it to work. Host was pretty responsive, property was clean and taken care of. It’s all bunk beds but they were surprisingly comfortable. Very large front room with large wrap around couch, 2 recliners and large dining table. Two bedrooms with 2 bunk beds each. Also a very small washing machine and dryer. It does sit in a very little community (maybe 10 to 15 other homes) so if you’re looking for solitude away from everything, then this is not the place. It’s 9 miles to Ridgway which was convenient to get supplies. It’s a short drive to everything the highlands has to offer. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, I’d definitely give this place consideration.
