"IL MARE IN CASA" apartment is located in Riomaggiore's marina, its a former fisher's household with a wonderful terrace just above the sea, the view is incredible. Very close to shops, cafes and restaurants, but also to the train station and next to the ferry station. Lorenzo’s place was perfect for our family of 4… more than spacious. Beautiful artwork. The apartment is up the hill so you get gorgeous views on the balcony every night. Lorenzo had cold drinks and snacks for us when we arrived and met us to help with our bags. We loved the town (short walk down stairs) and it was easy to hop from town to town on the train each day. We also swam all of the days we were there which was lovely!

This beautiful gem is just as described! Luca is a fabulous and communicative host, who quickly addressed any question we had. The room is on the smaller side, but has everything needed. I assume many (like us) are more interested in the patio anyway! It is centrally located to the beach, swimming areas and still had a lot of food options. To note: the bathroom is a little tight, which could pose some difficulties to someone on the larger size. They aren't kidding about the stairs and packing light! Riomaggiore is on a hill, with the town located more towards the top. The beach/where the Airbnb is located is at the bottom. Then you climb some stairs to the Building, and stairs to the room.

All amenities you could want, and the first place I've seen with a non stick pan that was still non stick :) Emilio was very responsive, and gave great instructions on everything you needed to know.. Check in and out were also a breeze! Would definitely visit again

We stayed here for our Honeymoon June 2025 and were thrilled with our choice. Cecilla met us at the train station and guided us to the accommodation which was extremely helpful. We had watched vlogs on other travellers visiting the Cinque Terre and had seen how difficult it could be to find their spots in the steep stairways. Ricardo’s place was easy to find and close to the train way exit with minimal stairs which was great if you have heavy suitcases. The balcony view is perfect of the main walkway down to the water and there are multiples stairways nearby that give you direct access to the central area. The bed was the best we had in our 2 week trip across Italy and Scotland. The shower was great with good pressure and heat. Lots of options for lighting in the place for your preference. Very good AC to help with the 30+ degree temperatures. The jacuzzi was a great option as well. Overall a fantastic stay for us and glad we chose here.
