Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Corte

authentic Corsican hospitality! We really enjoyed our time in the mountain village. The hosts recommended some hiking tours closeby (which worked out perfectly despite of the language barrier). They also responded very quickly after we've forgotten a piece of clothing :). You'll find everything you need but be aware of the long car ride (which is typical of Corsican countryside though).

We really enjoyed the week in Valerie's house - especially the peace and the many animals (cows, Milan, rabbits, wild boars and a fox). Everything in the house was as described and very clean. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful area of Corsica which is the Gulf of Porto. The house is in a charming Corsican village, perfectly located for moping around, between splendid hikes and beaches, and other multiple treasures of the region. The house is very well-equipped and impeccable cleanliness. Thanks to Sylvie and Pascale, the home fairies. Thanks also to Anne-Marie for all her valuable explanations. We'll be happy to go back!!

Sophie's location is great. Located on a hillside close to nature, with a magnificent view of the sea. For us, the beautiful terrace became the living room. The furnishings, especially the kitchen, are great, and the Internet works without problems. Supermarket, bakery and great beaches are in the immediate vicinity, but you need a car. Hikes, e.g. to the beautiful Pigna, can be started directly at the accommodation. We'll be back :-)

We had a great time at the villa. The villa has beautiful views and perfect comfort, the pool is also superb. The place is a little isolated from everything but it's really not a concern. Nick and Constance were very helpful both with their availability and recommendations and with their flexibility on check-in time, we greatly appreciated and thanked them warmly.

What a wonderful place! We live in the countryside, but here it's immersion, just like in Balagne!.. The setting is beautiful, bucolic, relaxing and warm just like the hosts. This old mill restores its old function in its soul while presenting the necessary comfort to a lover of this island. Needless to say, we will come back, the hardest part will be the wait! Thank you to Emilie and Claude.

The house is located in a very nice place. There was a good layer of posidonia leaves on the beach (at least ~50cm), but actually, it does not bother swimming and it is not unpleasant, neither to the foot, nor to the nose. At 30m on the right of the beach, there is much less deposit, and it is a beautiful beach of fine sand with driftwood. It's an old house, single glazing and vintage bathroom from the 70s, but it's very well equipped and very pleasant to live in. We would totally recommend!

A dream stay, in a dream house! Everything was as described, the welcome and the departure were perfectly clear, the small attentions on arrival were a source of pleasure, the activity proposals a treat... In short, everything was perfect! We can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time in the historic house of Marie Antoinette. She was a perfect hostess, welcomed us very warmly, gave us good tips and responded to our wishes and questions immediately. The apartment is very, very clean, well equipped and exceptionally tasteful and designed with loving details. The large roof terrace with a view of the sea and the mountains is particularly worth mentioning, and from which the sunset behind the mountains is beautiful to watch. From the roof terrace, you can also watch the colorful hustle and bustle of the market square. We liked to use the offers in the village (village shop, two restaurants, a bar, etc.) The location of Belgodère is great. We were able to ride our e-bikes(!) to the beach or through the villages, on beautiful paths that were hardly used (spring!) and were able to take great hikes from there. We fully recommend the place.

A super nice, idyllically located accommodation. We immediately felt at home. From the terrace, you have a great view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. Several highly recommended restaurants are just a few steps away. Christine personally welcomed us and gave us tips for hikes in the surrounding area. Absolute recommendation if you want to enjoy the tranquility of the Balagne and really relax!

Thanks to Colette and her great accommodation, be careful if you want to get from the airport to the accommodation on foot at night. Impeccable accommodation! Warm and accommodating host!

Very friendly welcome by Laurence's sister. Lots of charm for this small house jomy, very well equipped, very pleasant to live in, and located in a beautiful village, hanging from the mountain and out of traffic. Base camp ideally located for hiking in the beautiful valleys around. I would highly like this place to stay

Jean-Baty is a great host. Responsive 👍 (you don't always experience that), flexible (arrival and departure times), informative and very charming. The apartment is furnished with a lot of attention and care, and is equipped with absolutely everything (well, an iron maybe still ;) The large garden is the icing on the cake; plenty of seating in sun and shade. And then there is also a hot tub at your disposal. Apartment in a new building, located outside Bastia, on a main road, but situated in such a way that you can't hear the traffic at all. Upon arrival, J-B will pick you up and drive you to a private parking lot. Nice bakery across the street, restaurants within walking distance. We know where to go, if we could visit Corsica again. Chapeau!

What a lovely and authentic antique place, full of character of the region. The views and fresh air are wonderful. It looks brighter and better in person than in the photos. AC is only in the living room which was fine for us in June. To get there from Porto drive most of the way thru Ota village, until you see the following, all on the right: "Ecole" street sign, then a short house, then a large house, and the next house is it. You'll see the guardrail and terrace rail. Apartment is the entire top floor. Host was very kind and responsive. This stay really made our first trip to Corsica special.

Fits the description perfectly! Very well-equipped, very comfortable, very quiet and well-located accommodation on the outskirts of Ajaccio. We really fell in love with it and will be happy to come back. Helpful and very kind, Corinne and Eric are people with whom it was a pleasure to meet. I therefore highly recommend this aptly named "haven of peace".

The house convinces with the quiet locations on the hill with incredible views of the sea, the harbor and the town of Il Rousse. The garden is set up on several levels where the pool is located. The big turnaround is also ideal for dogs. The house is very spacious with a large kitchen, 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom. Everything was very clean and high quality. The communication with Emilie very pleasant and friendly. You felt welcome. The accommodation is highly recommended and the region is ideal for nature lovers who want to spend their holidays away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Thank you for a great stay.

Beautiful accommodation in a sumptuous environment, do not hesitate to make a detour to this accommodation which is really worth the detour!

Charlotte's place is so peaceful and lovely. The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities we need. The huge private gardens and pool surrounding the place were a very nice bonus. It feels like you are miles away from everything, but it is only an 8 minute drive to the middle of Saint-Florent, and to the nearest beach. Charlotte was very helpful and responsive and gave us a lot of guidance on the local area. I would love to come back and would not hesitate to book again.

Idyllic setting to break away from everyday life far from the flow of tourists. Absolute relaxation with your feet in the pool water – to be enjoyed without moderation. In the absence of air conditioning, however, it is advisable to manage the ventilation well during heat waves.

We had a great time in this very nice and very private house. The view from the living room and the bedrooms is spectacular and the patio is great to sit at all day. The kitchen has all utilities and there are two bathrooms available. Dume is a very nice and flexible host. The village is quite remote so you need to be prepared to make some milage if you want to see different sites. For us, this is a part of an active holiday so no issue at all. We can highly recommend staying here. It was a blast!
