Ample space for everyone to get together & socialise in Orchard Barn around the large dining table or in front of the log burner. The 7 seat Hot Tub is under an oak gazebo. The field has a mown area about the size of a tennis court, plus an Oval Cape Breeze House (open Easter -01/10). Easy 10 minute walk to The Roebuck. Sorry, no pets.

Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.
