Kid-friendly holiday rentals in County Londonderry

This house is in an ideal place for visiting Derry City or going into Donegal and the restaurant nearby serves good food. The house was very clean and well equipped and we would go back there again because it was like home from home and Marie was always at the other end of the phone. Fantastic host.

Mijn zoon en ik hebben het huisje van Ryan gebruikt als uitvalsbasis voor onze reis naar Noord - Ierland en het was geweldig. Derry (+/- 1 uur), Giant’s causeway (45 min), Belfast (35 min) en Glenariff Forest Park (30 min) zijn makkelijk te bereiken. Na een lange dag kom je dan terug op je 'eigen' plekje en dat is heerlijk. De bedden liggen prima, WiFi en TV werken goed, top douche en ook een wasmachine is aanwezig. De omgeving is heel rustig (het huisje vormt een hofje met een paar andere en ligt verscholen aan een zandpad), maar was toch makkelijk te vinden. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden.

From start to finish the stay was perfect. Cheryl communicated really well and replied to any question in minutes. The house is beautiful and so central. The kitchen had little extras that you would miss from home such as tin foil and washing powder for the dishwasher and washing machine so I was able to do a wash while there. Cheryl even went out of her way to return something we had left behind which meant a lot.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. :-) Mary & Sean haben die Wohnung mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht und wir hatten sehr viel Privatsphäre und haben uns sehr sicher in der Gegend gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sauber und modern, ideal für zu zweit. Wir würden die Wohnung sehr empfehlen und jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. :-)

The apartment was comfortable, spacious and in a great location. Colleen was very responsive. She was a great help when we had trouble operating the microwave, texting us the manual, and she helped us sort out our luggage storage issues too. Her place was a great home base for exploring Derry.

Comfortable home in a quiet location just outside the walls. We appreciated being so close to all the sights and restaurants, but having a little more room and quiet for our family of four.

After staying at a number of disappointing AirB&B’s during our time in the UK Joan’s place was a breath of fresh air! Fantastic location, super clean, sizeable enough for 4 adults plus an infant and easy to check in plus Joan gave us a great restaurant recommendation & even let us know we could check in early if we wished. Amazing stay!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in einem Haus, das sich sofort wie ein zweites Zuhause anfühlte. An der Ausstattung fehlte nichts, sogar Zahnbürsten, Duschgel und einige Lebensmittel standen bereit. Und es gab mehr als genug Handtücher, was auch nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die Räume sind gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet, uns fehlte an nichts. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und der riesige Garten traumhaft. Wir hatten wahlweise Blick auf eine Weide oder die nahe Bucht, die Umgebung war ländlich ruhig. Die Gastgeberin haben wir persönlich kennengelernt, sie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

A really wonderful studio to feel good and relax in. The kitchen is very well equipped, everything is clean and tidy. We were allowed to use the bicycles and were able to explore the island very well. Una and Steward are very attentive hosts, always approachable and helpful. Hope we'll come back!

Comfortable place, convenient location, great view.

Absolutely perfect location and a lovely apartment that felt right at home! Only a minute to the beach and walkable to everywhere in town. Willie was an awesome host! The apartment was clean and comfortable and has an incredible view. Will definitely book again in the future!

es war ein toller Aufenthalt. sehr liebevoll. haben wir noch Frühstück bereit gestellt bekommen von Rosemary und ihre Hündin hat uns herzlich begrüsst und verabschiedet. sehr ruhig gelegen. ideal für Reisende mit einem Fahrzeug.

Sean & Susan were wonderful hosts. We stayed the month of April and enjoyed every minute. The flat is so close to everything whether by foot or vehicle and a great base for exploring Northern Ireland. We highly recommend this flat and the town of Enniskillen. Thank you again Sean & Susan xx

Fantastic place to stay in Portstewart! We couldn’t believe how close it was to the sea and the amazing view from the window. The apartment itself is excellent, the kitchen is new and has everything you need for cooking. The sofa is comfortable and the smart tv is a great addition. The bed is also soft and the quiet surroundings meant we got a great nights sleep. The bathroom is spotlessly clean and modern. Carole has been an excellent host, keeping in touch and responding quickly to any queries. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful apartment, really well equipped, extremely comfortable & super welcome pack for us on arrival. We had a lovely visit to Port Stewart.

Andrew's place is an absolute gem. Everything you want from an Airbnb and more. A great place to use for a short break or longer if required. Fantastic location for touring the city and surrounding area.

This is the third time I have stayed at Martin’s place. Like the other 2 times, it did not disappoint. The only problem I had was the fact that I had to check out!!! Already looking forward to the next visit.

We had a fantastic stay! Colum gave us a tour of the thatch roof cottage and shared stories and videos of local culture. We walked to the ancient tombs and saw more great views of the area. The space was so comfortable and the bathroom was amazing with a great shower and heated towel rod. The house is beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer.

I had a lovely time staying at the Annex, its so quiet and peaceful set out in the countryside however still very close and easy to get to the town. I didn't meet Huw and he was busy farming but Nan came and introduced herself on the check in day and checked that I had everything that I needed. She was really friendly and helpful, any time I messaged she was quick to respond. The annex has everything I needed and it was all where you expected it to be, I didn't find myself hunting around for things . I would definitely recommend and be happy to stay there again :)

What can we say, our stay was so perfect from start to end. Brian and Marion are wonderful hosts, welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind. Muff is a lovely little town and this property is perfectly located for exploring all around this charming area of Ireland. Nothing was too much trouble, the property is so well equipped for everything we could have needed and more. We stayed with our 9 month old baby and she was well catered for too with a travel crib all set up and ready to go. Small touches like fresh milk, biscuits, personal recommendations all to hand on arrival, we couldn’t have wished for more. Ruby their beautiful little dog is so friendly and docile if we could have snuck her home with us we would have. The place is absolutely spotless, beds are comfortable with loads of pillows to choose from, anything you can think of that you might need is already there. Overall this has been a lovely little getaway for our family and made perfect by staying at this beautiful house.

Small but mighty. Wasn't fan of the carpeted stairs, for rainy days, since there isn't a private water resistant area to leave wet shoes, until you get up stairs to the kitchen/living room.

Nous avons passé 2 jours dans l'appartement de Gareth et avons apprécié son emplacement central et la possibilité de se garer juste derrière l'immeuble. L'appartement est décoré avec goût et les chambres confortables. Le salon est agréable pour une pause avec ces 2 divans . On entend le route qui passe devant mais ça se calme durant la nuit. on n'en a pas profité mais il y a aussi un balcon sympa avec 2 chaises et une table. Quant au musée Free Derry, il est juste à côté.

Appartement moderne et très agréable dans lequel on se sent bien. Propreté irréprochable et literie confortable (peut-être un peu minimaliste en équipements cuisine) Situé dans la nature, bel environnement très paisible. Une excellente location pour visiter la région.
