Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in County Londonderry

I booked this stay for my parents for my dads birthday/Father’s Day. They absolutely loved it and sent me videos of inside and outside the house. The house was clean and comfortable for their getaway, and the videos I received looked beautiful. They loved the views (whenever the rain cleared finally lol) and mum adored the cows in the field beside them, and laughed at them waking her up early mooing. Nan was very responsive and gave me clear instructions to pass onto my parents to allow them to get inside. Even had an egg service for fresh eggs from the farm if you fancy some in the mornings. They had an excellent night away at the house and I’d highly recommend!!

This house is in an ideal place for visiting Derry City or going into Donegal and the restaurant nearby serves good food. The house was very clean and well equipped and we would go back there again because it was like home from home and Marie was always at the other end of the phone. Fantastic host.

Joanne greeted us to walk us through the property and filled us in on local to-do’s. Loved her recommendation for the restaurant, Tank & Skinny’s, in the town of Limavady. Excellent sandwiches/desserts. Very clean and welcoming with tasty goodies (bread,cookies, jam,butter), milk, coffee,and a bottle of wine. The washing machine/drying rack came in handy. Really enjoyed the mini-balcony on the 2nd floor to stargaze. Wow!! What an amazing place set on a rolling countryside road, with high quality construction and finishes. Ask about the cute Austrian sheep up the road, sooooo cute.

Mijn zoon en ik hebben het huisje van Ryan gebruikt als uitvalsbasis voor onze reis naar Noord - Ierland en het was geweldig. Derry (+/- 1 uur), Giant’s causeway (45 min), Belfast (35 min) en Glenariff Forest Park (30 min) zijn makkelijk te bereiken. Na een lange dag kom je dan terug op je 'eigen' plekje en dat is heerlijk. De bedden liggen prima, WiFi en TV werken goed, top douche en ook een wasmachine is aanwezig. De omgeving is heel rustig (het huisje vormt een hofje met een paar andere en ligt verscholen aan een zandpad), maar was toch makkelijk te vinden. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden.

We stayed here with our two sons and our dog. The house was so comfortable and cosy. The space was perfect and so well designed and maintained. The gardens were fab and very secure so the dog could potter around and we could leave the door open. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was easy to use. I’d highly recommend this house to anyone travelling this direction. As an aside, the local area is stunning. We completed many walks and many cafes etc were dog friendly so we could bring her inside which was so easy when the weather was bad. This is my new favourite location in Ireland as it was just so easy and every single person we met was so nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to friends and family!

A few words probably won’t do it justice 😁 we had a lovely comfortable stay, it’s like a home from home right down to the welcoming tray with tea bags for a cuppa after a long drive. Beautiful surroundings and super host, we felt very welcome and it made all the difference to our short stay. Thanks so much, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we intend to return!

Used as a base for exploring including kayaking, very handy for our needs. John was very communicative and a good host.

We had a fantastic trip, the apartment was very modern and beautifully decorated. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Perfect location, short walk to shops, restaurants and beaches, beautiful sea view from balcony and living area. Would definitely recommend

Grahams place was lovely, beautiful surroundings. Very close to the town of Letterkenny only 10 min drive. Place was lovely very comfortable, hot tub was amazing great addition for the price your paying great deal . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come to Donegal

Serenity found! This Loft exceeded expectations. Calming ambiance, plush furnishings, and natural light made for a perfect retreat. The kitchen was spotless and well-equipped, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe with easy access to the stores and pubs yet a private property with all privacy to enjoy nature at its best. Host communication was seamless. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay here - it was peaceful, calm and well provided. The view is pleasant and it was such a novelty for us to see sheep grazing just next door. It was a shame we only stayed one night!

Fantastic place to stay in Portstewart! We couldn’t believe how close it was to the sea and the amazing view from the window. The apartment itself is excellent, the kitchen is new and has everything you need for cooking. The sofa is comfortable and the smart tv is a great addition. The bed is also soft and the quiet surroundings meant we got a great nights sleep. The bathroom is spotlessly clean and modern. Carole has been an excellent host, keeping in touch and responding quickly to any queries. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment. The views from the property were amazing and we found it hard to drag ourselves away. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed the walks directly from the apartment and it's only a short stroll to the Carrick-A-Rede bar/restaurant where we had a lovely meal. Thanks to Gerard the owner for his kind hospitality and useful information. We totally recommend "The Nest" and will definitely be returning.

Roy And Iris met us as we arrived, they were very warm and welcoming. Their place was just amazing with little touches that exceed expectations. The gardens and property have beautiful little nooks where you can go for a walk or take a book and relax outdoors and read. Such a beautiful amazing place and a credit to both Roy and Iris. We had a wonderful time, tha k you both so much.

This was a last minute few days away, and what a find, so peaceful, I loved the garden, could just potter about in it all day, huge fish pond so relaxing . Little slice of heaven. We have 2 pugs one very very anxious, Nicola was so understanding. Hot tub was a wonderful bonus. Definitely recommend this place, in such a lovely area and walking distance to the beach .

This is the third time I have stayed at Martin’s place. Like the other 2 times, it did not disappoint. The only problem I had was the fact that I had to check out!!! Already looking forward to the next visit.

We had a fantastic stay! Colum gave us a tour of the thatch roof cottage and shared stories and videos of local culture. We walked to the ancient tombs and saw more great views of the area. The space was so comfortable and the bathroom was amazing with a great shower and heated towel rod. The house is beautiful and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Clement und Marie haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Unsere Motorräder konnten wir sicher hinten im Hof parken.

Janice was a great host. Accommodation and location were fantastic. Access to great walks, buses, food (to eat in or eat out) all very easy. Bushmills was a good base to discover the Northern Ireland coastline.

Our first visit to Port Stewart - we loved the location. The ocean is right outside the front door. I am a runner and running to the North East along the promenade there is a trail along the bluff that starts right behind the Golf Course Clubhouse/Italian restaurant. We ate at Harry’s Shack - best dinner ever. I would have loved to have stayed for a week or longer. Thank you Sara.

I had a lovely time staying at the Annex, its so quiet and peaceful set out in the countryside however still very close and easy to get to the town. I didn't meet Huw and he was busy farming but Nan came and introduced herself on the check in day and checked that I had everything that I needed. She was really friendly and helpful, any time I messaged she was quick to respond. The annex has everything I needed and it was all where you expected it to be, I didn't find myself hunting around for things . I would definitely recommend and be happy to stay there again :)

What can we say, our stay was so perfect from start to end. Brian and Marion are wonderful hosts, welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind. Muff is a lovely little town and this property is perfectly located for exploring all around this charming area of Ireland. Nothing was too much trouble, the property is so well equipped for everything we could have needed and more. We stayed with our 9 month old baby and she was well catered for too with a travel crib all set up and ready to go. Small touches like fresh milk, biscuits, personal recommendations all to hand on arrival, we couldn’t have wished for more. Ruby their beautiful little dog is so friendly and docile if we could have snuck her home with us we would have. The place is absolutely spotless, beds are comfortable with loads of pillows to choose from, anything you can think of that you might need is already there. Overall this has been a lovely little getaway for our family and made perfect by staying at this beautiful house.
