Welcome to Honeysuckle, our luxury shepherd's hut with stunning views across the fields in the Chilterns. In the evenings sit and watch the sun go down around your fire pit or stay cosy indoors with your log burner. We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in March/April 2025!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. You have your own secluded, fenced and private garden area with seating.

The Studio: Spacious room on the Thames Path

Simple and stylish, this spacious studio is set back from the road, just off the Thames Path at the foot of the Chiltern Hills. A 2 minute walk from the local pub with regular street food, 5 minute walk from the river and 10 minutes from the shops, restaurants and train station in Pangbourne (direct trains to London in approx. 50 mins). Free parking is available and the room has a patio and outdoor seating area. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided but there is no fridge or kitchen.

A relaxing retreat close to the Thames.

The Studio is a self contained space attached to our home. It has an open plan area with a kitchen, dining , sitting and sleeping space as well as a separate shower room. Access is through a private entrance at the front of the house. Purley on Thames is a small village in West Berkshire with good access to Reading, Pangbourne and Oxford by car. The Studio is a 10 min walk away from Mapledurham Lock on the Thames path and there are also some lovely walks through nearby Sulham woods.

A Perfect Pad in Pangbourne!

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - its now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to Paddington.

The Nye at Friars Ford, Goring on Thames

The Nye, is a self contained flat above the garage at Friars Ford Country House Accommodation, situated in 16 acres of beautiful gardens and paddocks leading down to The Thames Path. The village and train station is a 5/10 min walk away, where you will find everyday shopping, a deli, Tesco Express, cafes, restaurants and four pubs. We have on site parking. Perfectly located for those working in the surrounding area, visiting family or walking the Ridgeway or Thames.

Self Contained Detached Property on the River Pang

Our annexe is light and spacious and people have told me the photographs do not do it justice!! We are just 2 minutes walk to a lovely local thatched pub, and a couple of minutes drive to other restaurants and dining, public transport and family-friendly activities in the centre of Pangbourne which has a station (trains to London take 35 mins via Reading) It is ideal for couples, business travellers, and families with children.

The Barn at Goring Heath

Unwind in this quiet rural retreat on the edge of the Chilterns, close to Reading, Goring, Pangbourne and Henley on Thames. A gorgeous barn, set in beautiful surroundings. Luxurious Emporer bed with pretty linen, with a large ensuite shower room. Utility Room - Miele Washing Machine, and Fridge. Please note there is no fitted oven. This stylish place to stay is perfect for walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside. The Ridgeway and Chilton Hills and the Thames Path all accessible from the village. The mainline station provides access to Oxford, Reading and London Paddington. The historical market town of Wallingford on Thames is approximately 5 miles away and Henley on Thames is 12 miles away.
