The house is in a small village near several pedestrian paths. It is a total quiet area, great for rest but also for walking in nature. Nearby are several towns and cities, all with lots of heritage to know and excellent places for tapas and to live with. The house itself is magnificent, being prepared to receive up to 5 people and in full autonomy (to cook and simply be). O José um de facto a super host! From what we fully recommend. Deixo only the note for those who travel with people with limited mobility: the house is accessible by car but will only move backwards. We ended up not doing so because, in practice, our senior was always able to make the short journey (100m?) from the house to the car, without difficulty and even with joy. :-) We would like to come back because it was so much to see and do. We are an elderly couple, living in Brazil, and we spent a little over 3 months at Casa Rota, owned by Mr. Rafael, in the charming village of Santa Olalla de Cala. It was a unique, pleasant and unforgettable experience. The house is beautiful with very tasteful details. It is an original house, escaping traditional standards, cozy. Well-equipped in every way. It has two pleasant and flowery gardens that we enjoy a lot. We had breakfast in one of the outdoor areas and it was very tasty. The pueblo is located in a region that is beautifully flowered in the spring. We took pleasant walks. We can't help but comment that the neighbors were kind and helpful. In general, the people of the city are welcoming and humorous. Our host, Mr. Rafael, deserves our gratitude and praise. Whenever necessary, he was present, kind and helpful. We recommend !

We went to spend the weekend 3 people my partner and the child, to say that the whole stay rained a lot but we had a great time, we disconnected in a very quiet and beautiful area. beautiful nearby towns too. María Luisa lovely, recommended things to see and do in the area. All in all, I recommend it. We'll repeat as soon as we can.
