We felt right at home. Rustic but very cozy. The location, the view over the mountains and into the clouds was simply magical and you could not get enough. The fireplace in the living room and the great outdoor fireplace for cooking/grilling on the terrace made it simply perfect. It was also great that the firewood is free and plentiful. We will be happy to come back.

The place was great. The view from the beautiful terrace! Nuno is an extremely kind host. He responds quickly and gave us plenty of recommendations. The departure and arrival at the accommodation was made very simple and pleasant thanks to him. In addition, Ponta do sol is a very convenient place: a supermarket with gas station just down the village, great restaurants and the beach being a beautiful place to see the sunset. I can only recommend this place to stay in Madeira. It's been a real favorite!

It was so awesome, like a dream. The road getting there was a bit scary the first time but after once its easy peasy. The view is spectacular and it is super private and pleasant. The inside is right what you need and has all the appliances to cook for yourself. The location on the island is perfect as well not too far from anything really. North coast is 20-30 minute drive and Funchal the same. Up to nice points of interest are about 40-50 minutes but it is very worth it! Love this place and would highly recommend!

A beautiful stay and a welcome haven after hiking the hills with tired legs! The host was so generous in providing eggs and potatoes so we could have breakfast then next morning and the apartment felt so homely. we loved it!
