The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Crickhowell Cottage

Beautiful Grade 2 listed self-catering cottage in the lovely village of Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons. Sitting on the edge of the River Usk. The cottage is light and airy with lovely period features.It has a bright dining area overlooking the garden and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has two bedrooms with crisp cotton bedlinen and luxury mattresses to ensure a good nights rest. One bedroom has a King size bed, the other has a single bed. Walk in shower in bathroom. Escape back to nature and wake up to stunning sunrises in our idyllic, custom-built shepherd’s hut. Nestled on the hillside of a beautiful Welsh farm, the hut boasts countryside views in all directions with an outlook across the Welsh border lands and the Skirrid mountain. Fully-equipped with a cosy wood stove and floor to ceiling glass doors our hut is a magical place to sit back, unwind and take in the breath-taking surroundings.

The views of the Black Mountains are exceptionally beautiful from this lovely cottage in a peaceful farm location. There is a log fire and underfloor heating in cold weather. Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.
