Although our recent trip to Bavaria included castles, amazing cuisine and incredible sights, one of our fondest and most special memories will forever be meeting Hubertus and Jennifer. You will not find two more caring, more thoughtful hosts and our stay at their cottage was absolutely wonderful. The love and warmth they put into their cottage is self evident and reflects in almost every detail of their home. From the handwritten welcome note and bottle of wine we received on arrival to their recommendations and helpful tips as we navigated the surrounding areas, we felt as though we were staying with old friends and were looked after with such special attention and care. My husband and I feel so grateful to have met them and could not recommend others to book a stay at their cottage strongly enough. Thank you again for everything! It truly was a perfect stay :)

We had a lovely stay in this cute and cozy apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was absolutely wonderful—kind, helpful, and quick to respond. The location was also perfect, just a short walk to the train station with easy access to the center of Munich. Highly recommended!

With one laughing and one wistful eye, we look back on our stay with Georg and Gisela. Nostalgic, because time passed too quickly and we could have stayed forever... A week was simply too short! Laughing, because it was so beautiful and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Waltersberg. We can only agree with all the previous great reviews. Georg and Gisela are wonderful hosts, as they could not be better: attentive, warm, helpful and in short people to like. The house was charming, cozy, sparkling clean and well-equipped as expected, the beautiful garden very idyllic, full of flowers and well maintained, the charming surroundings and the short distances to the most beautiful mountain and lake landscapes are worth a trip anyway. my experience with Helga was incredible, the house was very bright, clean, full of every comfort, she is a special person, kind, helpful, very nice and discreet, her cats were a perfect company, every detail, cared for, overflowed with extreme care, respect and joyful energy! We were warmly welcomed by Sonja, keys for apartment were already in - everything worked out great and the apartment is very quiet and very cozy. We will definitely come again - thank you very much.

I was here a few days with my 1.5 year old daughter. Susanna provided extra children's dishes, a children's towel and a toy box with Lego Duplo - great! I felt very welcome. What was also remarkable was that despite the attic, it was pleasantly cool (in June). You can completely darken the apartment - also important with a child. Otherwise, everything was clean, spacious and everything you need was there. You have a great view from the balcony into the mountains and you can get there very quickly. We will be happy to come back.

It was my first Airbnb and I got along great with the two of them. Everything was very simple and worked for both of them on their own.

Place is clean and spacious enough for one or two people. Conveniently located near the public transport station and central train station. Very nice to have washer and dryer just outside the unit. It was so nice to have some coffee provided in the morning. Comfortable pillows and blackout curtains made for great sleeps. Although it may not be the nicest neighborhood in Munich, I would recommend this place for the value.

Susanne's place in Murnau is very warm. In good weather, the view of the Alps is beautiful and the small terrace in front is very pleasant. We made the majority of walking trips between the studio and Murnau station, it is doable and the path is pleasant, but you have to like walking (about 30' to the center of Murnau and 40' to the train station). Close to the apartment, there is a lady who offers Thai massages. We enjoyed it and enjoyed it.

The apartment is great, we felt very comfortable! It really has everything you need. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and we were allowed to leave our luggage on the day of departure, so we could spend another day at the lake. Rainer is very warm and helpful. The fruit provided, the sparkling wine to welcome us and the sweets were very nice. We would have really liked to have stayed longer - if we end up at Lake Schliersee again, we will be happy to come back to this apartment!

Location, location, location! Close to many museums, restaurants, markets, boutiques, and only a short subway trip to center of Munich. Sarah’s place was perfect for our week stay in Munich! The place was spotless, modern, and well equipped. She took initiative to make our stay even more comfortable for us and our adult daughter. Thank you, Sarah. We would enjoy staying at your home again someday.

We had a very good stay, the environment is very peaceful, great if you want to spend a quiet stay near nature and visit Munich. Please note, there is a 20-minute walk between the accommodation and the train station, the only downside :-)
