Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dartmouth

While the weather did not cooperate (it rained the entire time) the cottage and views made up for the weather. From the table to the couch the views are wonderful. The cottage is very well stocked from towels and blankets to the kitchen. We did not need anything that wasn't supplied. The bathroom is small but functional. The shower might not work well for a larger person. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe and peaceful. We enjoyed our long weekend and would book this cottage again.

Caryl’s house was spacious and clean with lots of amenities. The location was excellent, as it was in walking distance to the village shops and restaurants. Caryl was proactive and responsive to our needs, and we felt it was a good value overall. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this house- especially for a longer stay.

Tina's BnB is so peaceful and in a beautiful setting with a beach. The cottage is right on the bay - sunsets are stunning. The bed is very comfortable, which is unusual for most BnBs. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and I slept well each night! Everything was clean. Even though I ate out nightly, the kitchen had all that you need to prepare a dinner. There is also a shed with beach toys and chairs. Tina checked in a few times through the message app and offered assistance, but I had everything I needed. I loved my stay and will return in the future!

The place was incredible. It was beautifully kept and clean down to the sheets and towels. The view is unbelievable of the water right across the road. There is a beautiful park right next to the house if you have little ones that need to run. The kitchen was pristine, with wonderful appliances. The bedroom on the first floor was perfect for my mother-in-law, who can't walk up the steps. She had her own bathroom with a shower to herself. The rest of the bedrooms were upstairs. The beds were so comfortable, you didn't want to get up. She has provided so many extras, like shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee and creamer. We honestly didn't have to go out to get any supplies. It was pouring when we arrived, and having the ability to open the garage and unload was extremely appreciated. I can't say anything bad about the place, I guarantee you will love it. Truly the best Airbnb experience I have had. Hosts are kind and thoughtful. They made sure we had everything we needed. House is spotless. Beds very comfortable. Perfect location with the beautiful water view. Great restaurants around. And easy trip to Boston from the local train station just 10 mins away! We hope to come back soon!!!

The house itself was beautiful, clean, and felt very homey—perfect for family time. The photos don’t do it justice, and for that, I would give 4 stars. However, the experience with the hosts left a lot to be desired. I originally booked May 22–25, but on May 21, the property manager told me checkout was May 26 at 11 a.m. Based on that, we planned accordingly. Then, the day before the 26th, they questioned why we were still there and claimed we should have known it was a mistake. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed us and demanded immediate payment or departure, leaving no room for discussion. I ended up paying for the extra day to avoid conflict, but it felt like a setup. It’s unfortunate, as the stay could have been perfect otherwise. 4 Stars for the house, 1 star for the hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Elsa’s place while visiting for Christmas. We enjoyed being able to take walks along the fort each day, and the place was decorated very tastefully! Thanks, Elsa.

I loved this little stay, it was very peaceful and lovely. Matthew was an excellent host and the snacks and breakfast options were a lovely addition to the amenities. Matthew is a really thoughtful and lovely host, I'd love to stay here again on my next visit to Providence/Pawtucket :)

My daughters and I spent the weekend here, and it truly was a perfect stay! We traveled from New Jersey to visit my nephew who lives in New Bedford, and the apartment’s location—just 6 minutes away—couldn’t have been more convenient. The space was spotless and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed to prepare a delicious Saturday morning breakfast. The bathroom was impressively spacious, and I have to rave about the towels and bedding—absolutely luxurious! The bath towels, in particular, were divine. I’d love to know where they were purchased so I can get some for my own home. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the thoughtful touches—like the lovely houseplants—gave the apartment a warm, homey feel. I'm so glad I found this gem! I visit the area often and will definitely be booking again. Vania provided clear, detailed instructions and was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. A solid 10 out of 10 across the board!

We had a perfect stay — travelling with a toddler can sometimes be challenging but Debora provided everything we needed to make the stay comfortable (cot, high chair, bath, even cutlery!) and it really felt like a home away from home. The airbnb was spotless, it’s a good location in Fall River walking distance from a playground, parking was super easy, and we loved our stay.

I felt very comfortable and enjoyed my time at Matt’s. The apartment was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the entire space was very thoughtful and organized .

Carmen was readily available. The energy was great. Beautiful home, area, and surrounded by nature. You have everything you could need and more!

Rob was a great host ! He responded within a timely manner and the place was very clean and felt just like home. I would suggest bringing board games and such for the rainy days. For the folks who enjoy cooking the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. I would also recommend renting bikes or taking an Uber if you don't like walking. The walk to town was about 25 minutes. Overall great stay would love you stay her again it gives you the peace and quiet while also being close enough to everything and a beautiful view of the ocean.

Friendly host! Allowed us to bring our 4 little dogs! Hard to find a host that will allow this. Clean and peaceful property.

Pelham Court was a great stay. Great communication for checking in and checking out as well as during our stay. Very clean! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was great to be able to walk to all the restaurants and the shops. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay at Trip and Christina’s place was excellent. It is perfectly decorated and we loved the peacefulness of deck for early morning coffee as well as enjoying our meals alfresco. Perfect location close to bus station for tours of Newport and transportation to the mansions. We unexpectedly arrived super and Christina was a gracious host and invited us in while she completed preparing the place for our stay. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊
