Nice stay in Urk, Rinke is a super host!

I had a lovely stay here! The place was very clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The host is incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly—it truly felt like staying with family. The location is a bit remote, so getting around might be a little inconvenient without a car or detailed planning. But if you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet place with a kind-hearted host, this is a wonderful choice.

Mia is the best host we have ever experienced! We would give 100 stars if we could. And her beds are magic as it was the best sleep. She really is the most thoughtful and caring host, the accommodation is so charming and we highly recommend Mia.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful garden, beautiful rural area. Very good, various and abundant breakfast. The mattress was really comfortable. Annie and her husband are extremely gentle and helping but still respecting the privacy of the guests.

We only stayed for one night but felt right at home. Petra is a very welcoming host.

place was wonderful, clean space which was exactly as described. it's very kid friendly with lots of toys and card games. the place was very cosy and homely

stayed one night because of Metal Festival in Leeuwarden. Meneer Waling is very nice, talkative and hospitable. The place is exactly what I needed and it even closer to the city center that I thought (you don't really need a bus)

We were allowed to use the wonderful accommodation of Nittert & family for four nights - we would have preferred not to leave. What a lucky strike: from the loving, detailed furnishings of all the rooms, to the large, perfectly equipped kitchen and the comfortable living room, to the well-maintained, lushly planted garden, where you could sit and read in peace... Such a kind of hospitality is not a matter of course. We were happy and grateful and very enthusiastic :-) We'd be happy to come back anytime!

We arrived very late but that was no problem (I had called in advance). The room was as in the picture and was clean. Breakfast was fine and the lady and gentleman are very nice and hospitable. The second evening, they asked us if we wanted to have a drink in the garden and that was very cozy. It was very hot, so it was nice that we got a fan for the room. Would definitely go back here.

I did not meet Cobbie but his 2 sons. They are adorable. Really exotic experience. Thank you for the lovely welcome from start to finish. Large spacious room with a great view and good breakfast included. Recommended

Janneke is nice, helpful and interested! Exactly appropriate! Everything is perfectly fine, clean, tidy and a great bed! In consultation, I showered at night, which was also no problem for Janneke (I had a party close by, with dressing and green hair, hence the desire to shower). Janneke is super understanding and that made me feel very much at home. Janneke is a super host! :)

A beautiful, modern accommodation that is beautifully furnished and had everything and more to offer than we wanted for a relaxing weekend. The highlight here is the breakfast, which is prepared with so much love. The organization and communication was simply great, so that we immediately felt comfortable with our hostess Jitske. Thank you very much for everything and certainly see you next time!

Very nice B&B in a quiet area, especially in summer, the whore should be beautiful.

The flat was very cute and peaceful. The owners we're very kind, helpful and friendly. The location was quiet and nice to take long walks. Would definetely recommend staying there and we would Love to come again.

Our stay in Giethoorn was absolutely perfect! The little inn we chose was cozy, spotless, and everything we could have hoped for. The location was right on the canal, making it incredibly easy to take the boat out and explore the serene waterways. While the area is quieter in winter, that only added to the charm, creating a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond, preparing delicious and varied home-cooked breakfasts each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the clean and well-equipped kitchen (where my girlfriend and I enjoyed cooking dinner each night) to the excellent water pressure and warmth of the shower—something you truly appreciate during colder months. This was more than just a stay; it was an experience. The warmth, cleanliness, and attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to our return!

Beautiful renovated church and lovely area to walk around

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. We had a lovely Pentecost weekend! We had registered for the Buitenkunst Festival Dronten, but did not feel like camping there on the site. I always search for "Superhost" in the AirBNB app and Sonja's B&B was the closest. Sonja has earned the Superhost status with flying colors! Her B&B is not only called "Hoog in 't Vaandel", but is also "Hoog in 't Vaandel" (at the back of the street, the Vaandel), but she also has hospitality and customer friendliness "Hoog in 't Vaandel". Breakfast was a feast every morning! And every morning completely different: variations of bread rolls, crackers, all kinds of cheese, meat and sweet toppings, yogurt, custard, cereals, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, kiwis, mango, dried fruit, pancakes, sugar bread, crackers, gingerbread, Spakenburg cake, coffee rolls, banana bread, cereal bars, fresh juice, grapefruit juice, flevo juice, eggs, etc! We felt very spoiled! We'd love to come back next year!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

We felt completely at home with Hélène. We enjoyed the quiet environment and sat in the garden. Franeker is close by bike and we went out to eat there. Breakfast was delicious!

Tim, the rightly proud owner, is an excellent, attentive and extremely friendly host. Accurate and fast communication prior to the visit. The stay in a stately mansion immerses you in the luxury of 100 years ago, authenticity is perfectly maintained! Once assigned the very spacious, cozy room, we were treated to a homemade pastry with coffee or tea: what a warm personal welcome! Highly recommended, across the board! Earns even more than 5*
