In the summer we have kayaks and in the winter we are less than a mile from Trail 8 and 8a. There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Camp Lattawatta (Named as there is a lot-of-water) is a nature lovers paradise offering a quiet retreat surrounded by wildlife. Amber Creek flows around the property, and a beaver dam has been built right in front of the cabin with a perfect view from inside. If you wake up early enough you might be able to spot the beavers working! Additionally, Kayaks can be rented on site to explore the surrounding creeks and marshes.

The Honeymoon Cabin at Pine Noel Resort is a cozy cabin set in a serene location with the conveniences of having downtown Mercer just a short walk away. The resort has two docks, row boat, sandy beach, and a swim raft for your enjoyment on the beautiful Grand Portage Lake. The cozy cabin is an open concept space equipped with a king sized bed and an air mattress. Although there are many restaurants nearby, a weber charcoal grill is also provided.
