Very friendly hostess. The house is a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. There is a lot to do in the area.

The place was very cozy. It is ideal for cycling trips to the beautiful dune landscape of Schoorl and the surrounding area. Alkmar and Amsterdam are easily accessible by public transport. We recovered very well and can highly recommend Janet's apartment.

We stayed with Michel for 5 nights at very short notice and the communication was fast and reliable. We felt very welcome and comfortable. The cottage is perfect for 2 people and the location is great. The amenities are simple, but everything is there to enjoy a few days of time. We would book again.

Girls weekend with two dogs. We found our relaxation in a great place to stay. Very cozy. Great location the beach was very close and there were also great restaurants. Cindy welcomed us very lovingly. Thank you for a lovely weekend stay at your place.

We felt very comfortable, a cozy accommodation with a beautiful living area, a very nice terrace and a large bathroom. Nevertheless, the note: There are no wardrobes where you can hang something (but enough closets to store everything) You also have to be mobile enough to get to the sleeping quarters. (We are, thank God. We know some who would have problems with that. The hospitality of Rick and Family is very warm, we felt welcome from the beginning (Very nice greeting card, chips and beer...what more do you want?😍🤩) Tulips to welcome you.... perfect! What a wonderful stay with Annelies and Jake, what a beautiful b&b, everything was correct, a nice place that has been given a lot of care and attention. We lacked nothing, lovely beds, nice bedding, nice shower. The outdoor space is fantastic, I was together with my 11-year-old daughter who preferred “at home”, and we did that, did some groceries ourselves and ate delicious outside with a beautiful view! The breakfast is also delicious, so much so we could also have lunch from it, what a service! The contact with Annelies was very pleasant. There are games and cards from Texel, we have enjoyed! We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home in Texel! The place was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The bed was especially amazing—super cozy and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the middle of Cocksdorp, with a grocery store and great restaurants just a short walk away. A highlight of our stay was the thoughtful gift basket left by the hosts, which was such a lovely touch. We even got to meet the host in person, who was incredibly welcoming and kindly offered us a late checkout. They communicated with us in a clear and friendly manner.

We booked a few days with Fam. de Vries at short notice and it was a wonderful stay. Mr. de Vries welcomed us super friendly because the place was a little hidden and we did not find it ourselves. The apartment is very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The location to the beach is GREAT, really just 3 min. And the beach is fantastic. You can walk there for hours on the beach. It is also only a few minutes on foot to the center. However, we particularly liked that the accommodation is not directly in the center, but on the edge of the nature reserve. Therefore, it was very pleasantly quiet there. We really only recommend the place and the de Vries family as hosts were just great and deserve 3 stars PLUS :-)

Had a few wonderful days at Cor and Bas! We really enjoyed it with our dog Bowie! Welcoming, you feel welcome! Coffee, tea, butter, sweetness for the sandwich, everything is there! Cor and Bas are super friendly hosts, we will definitely come back! The supermarket is nearby, and there are lovely walking paths for walking with the dog. Den Hoorn is a small village, wonderfully quiet, exactly what we were looking for. A few restaurants where you can eat delicious food are within walking distance. Thank you Cor and Bas, for the hospitality!
