The little house in the dunes

The small house of the dunes is located at the foot of the immense beaches of Barneville-Carteret, opposite the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey…) Close to the village and its shops. (5-minute drive - 15-minute walk). The accommodation is located in a quiet and pedestrian hamlet with 4 tennis courts (private) and a petanque court. The beach is very close to the house (10-minute walk). The small house of the dunes is classified as furnished tourist accommodation (3 stars).

A HEATED POOL IS AVAILABLE. (open from April 1st to October 15th) From the beginning of July to the end of August, arrivals are only on Saturdays and departures on Friday or Saturday. Ideal for a family stay, this charming house of character will offer you all the comforts you need for a great vacation. Completely renovated, surrounded by an enclosed garden of 2000 m², it will allow you to enjoy the beach located 4 km away and the harbor of St Germain.

At the beach - quiet and private

Our guest apartment is alongside our own house with its own parking and entrance and private south-facing patio garden. We are on the coast in the parish of St Clement and have private beach access from our property. There is a bus stop at the end of our drive and the buses run throughout the day and until late. There is a Coop supermarket two doors away. Coastal and rockpool rambles on your doorstep and easy access to the country lanes too.

Ideally located just 300 meters from Portbail beach, this self-catering home offers a peaceful and intimate setting, perfect for a seaside getaway. Nestled on private land where our family house is also located (also offered for rent), this small house is carefully managed by a concierge in our absence.
