Holiday rentals with lake access in Detroit Lakes

Great rental for our extended family. Loved the hot tub, large tv, large kitchen - plenty of room for us to spread out.

Great overall. Only complaint was an underground bees nest that stung one of us and the dog. Texted manager & she didn’t offer to come spray. We had to go to hardware store and buy spray ourselves. Also gas tank for grills ran out. Manager hesitantly offered to get some but said we could about 10 miles down the road. Paid out of pocket for these things.

Our first every Air BnB stay and was well worth the money! Having lots of kids that wanted to fish nonstop or do something Rayna’s place made it so easy to wear the kids out . Loved the outdoor/indoor games for family time. Loved the sunset/sunrise view off the deck . We all made use of the paddle boat and dock ! Rayna left something for the adults and children when we arrived !! She was very responsive!! We even got to check out her restaurant not too far away !!

Great place to stay!

We needed a place close to our tiny cabin that had more room for our kids to come and celebrate my wife’s 75th birthday. We brought our pontoon over from our lake and a couple of kayaks. This home had more outdoor toys that added to our fun weekend. The second night everyone slept through the night train coming through. Buchanan lake is a shallow calm lake for a relaxing weekend.

This is such an awesome Lake House Getaway! Hidden Gem! Very Peaceful, Quiet, and Absolutely Beautiful Scenery…right on the water. This destination is perfect for when you finally have a day off, or weekend getaway. And you just want to relax and recharge. And if you like to grill, just a mile away is Lake Country Meats. That has some awesome cuts of meat, and will also season it for you as well. Absolutely fell in love with this place. Looking forward to a return trip to Alexandria, MN.

house is awesome and has to have the best lake view. only gripe is stove seems to be inaccurate or cold. it did eventually cook a pizza. and the dryer needs a couple cycles for a dry outcome. small annoyances really.

The area is peaceful, definitely a great getaway and for anyone.

Great place and we will definitely return in the future. Trisha & Chris are kind and very hospitable. The apartment is clean and well equipped. Beautiful, peaceful location but just a short drive into town. We look forward to our next visit!

I have stayed at Bee and Paul's place (both upstairs and down) five times this year, and each time has been incredible. Both places are comfortable, clean, welcoming and filled with everything you might need and then some! I love this house and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Fergus Falls. Everybody is incredibly responsive, it's easy to check in and out, and the neighborhood is among my favorite places to walk. Just can't say enough about this house and these hosts!

This place was wonderful ! Plenty of space . Perfect for what we needed . Host was SUPER to communicate with . Beautiful view of the lake . So convenient to things , even walking distance to restaurants . Would stay again when in DL .

Breezy Shores Resort is a collection of two-story townhouses right on the lake. Our unit was well-equipped, beds were comfortable and the gas fireplace in the living room helped to warm the apartment quickly upon our arrival on a cold spring night. We had four days of cold, wet weather and we were glad to have a comfortable place to spend those days. Then the sun came out, the days warmed up and being right on the lake made our last four days really wonderful. Everyone we encountered in the office was immediately helpful and responsive. Nearby restaurants served us well -- we especially recommend cheeseburgers at Shorewood Pub, we had an excellent carry-out pizza from Zorbaz, and also can recommend nearby Bleachers and the Long Bridge Bar and Grill. This was an excellent stay and we definitely would come back.

Bee and Paul’s was very beautiful to stay at. The scenery was amazing and the hot tub was perfect for the night we utilized it. They had very great communication and Paul was really helpful with every question we asked. We went there for a bachelorette party and their recommendation list provided was a great guide to local restaurants. Location was great as it was private yet a larger town was only 15 mins away in case we needed anything. Thank you for having us!

Second time staying there. Loved it. Had family over for a day. We all loved the private beach and all the water things we could do. I will definitely be staying again. Tawni and Josh are awesome hosts!!

We loved staying in one of the cottages. Very clean and comfortable. We lucked out that things weren't very busy the weekend we visited so it was incredibly quiet. Even on a busier weekend, it still would be a great place, lots of space to explore. The beach was very nice with paddle boats, paddle boards and kayaks up for grabs. Amy and Tim were excellent hosts and quick to respond to questions. The cottage had a larger-than-average mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. We did assume that it would have well water (which is perfectly fine to drink, but an acquired taste) so we brought a 5 gallon jug for drinking water, just an fyi. We will definitely be visiting again!

The home was updated nicely with a modern up-north vibes. We enjoyed the view of the lake and the fishing off the dock. It was nice to be able to unwind and enjoy all the moments.

My wife stayed five days at this cabin and absolutely loved it! Imagine waking up early in the morning. Getting that first cup of coffee and then sitting on the outside deck listening to the lake come alive. This cabin has everything you would want. It is only a short 15 minute drive into Park Rapids, that is one of the prettiest small towns in America. The lake is only a few feet away with a nice dock. We used the cabin’s canoe one day on the lake. Plus, there is a beautiful community swimming pool just a few yards from the cabin. Such great fun! This one of the nicest AirBnBs we have ever stayed at. We plan on coming back next summer if it is available. Look no further, you have found your vacation home.

Absolutely heavenly lake front property- very well appointed with everything we needed and all the comforts of a home away from home. Josh was super responsive and helpful during our stay. We will definitely come back to Cotton Lake to visit again!

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the north woods and lake. Great views with plenty of options inside and out to enjoy them.

Our stay at Sage House was exactly as Deanne promised, a comfortable sanctuary from daily life. The countless indoor and outdoor amenities show her desire for friends and family to have an enjoyable and memorable time. The home is spotless, the property is in a tranquil location, and the private dock conveniently allows you to enjoy all the lake has to offer. Thank you for the great stay, we hope to return again!

We had a wonderful time at Mary's Place. The charming home was spacious and easily accomadated our group. The access to the water was perfect and the lake is great. We would definitely recommend this property.
