Located about a 1/2 mile from the Bishop Beach area, 2 miles to the Spit and all the ocean activities you can imagine.A full kitchen for those who want to cook their catch or restaurants nearby that are outstanding. We have a freezer that you can store your catch in, but check with me on freeze space. Well behaved dogs welcome. Poo bad provided. NO SMOKING ON PROPERTY

This clean, fully-outfitted trailer is a way to experience Alaska without pitching a tent or sacrificing luxury. Some call it 'glamping'. Open, bright, clean and cozy, this beautiful and efficient cabin is found in a wonderfully pleasant and family friendly neighborhood. It was situated on site to take maximum advantage of the stunning views of Kachemak Bay and the Grewingk Glacier. This is a no-pet listing, just right for one or two people. This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.

It is an authentic heavy timber hunting cabin that has been modernized to be warm & comfortable with a full kitchen and bath as well as a loft bedroom with a view of Kachemak Bay. It is private but located on a shared property with our home which is ideal for providing assistance with anything you may need.
