Within less than an hour's drive, there is a lot to discover from here: the world-famous Munich, the old imperial city of Augsburg, Lake Ammersee and Lake Starnberg and the Bavarian Alps with the highest mountain in Germany, the Zugspitze in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Worthwhile excursion destinations are the castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof, the Andechs Monastery and the Wieskirche.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Please be sure to arrive by car.
