Holiday rentals with beach access in Dolus-d'Oléron

We had a very good stay, apparently quiet and pleasant, all comforts!

Very good accommodation for a short stay on the island of Oléron. Very well located, with shops, the market and a bike rental right next door. The accommodation is beautiful with very good bedding, I highly recommend it :)

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

Unobstructed view of the sea and a beautiful old tree at sunrise and sunset. Very clean and functional accommodation. Easy check-in and check-out thanks to the key box and exchanges with Clémence. We would recommend it in a second.

Would highly recommend staying at Thierry’s apartment. Incredible location, close to everything. Was spacious and incredibly clean and Thierry was very communicative.

We had a great time with the family. The accommodation is perfect for 4. We were able to have breakfast outside, the environment is quiet and pleasant, the beach is not very far by bike. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool, but we were able to play petanque, although the field played tricks on us (which made us laugh). I would definitely recommend this place.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Isabelle was extremely welcoming, available and accommodating on our arrival. The accommodation is ideally located in a peaceful setting and at the same time close to amenities. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. There was even enough to make a hearty breakfast, a charming attention. Isabelle took the time to explain the walks, the restaurants, the must-sees of this pretty island. We strongly recommend this kind host. We'll be happy to go back

Very spacious and well-appointed house, large and fenced outside (perfect with dogs) and a big plus with the heated pool. Great location to discover the island and access to the beach on foot appreciable. Nelly's great flexibility on check-in and check-out times with responsive response. A few amenities would be worth repairing or changing for everything to be perfect. We'll be happy to go back!

I would recommend Thierry's place, very clean,very quiet in the back of a cul-de-sac, shop nearby. Thierry is very welcoming, and when I come back to the area , I will come back to his place.

Our stay at Elodie and Brice's was very pleasant, a small, very clean, very well-equipped accommodation, close to all shops. We took our bikes and L'Ile d'Oléron is to be visited by bike frankly there are beautiful bike paths everywhere. At Brice's we can store our bikes without worries in a closed room. We had a great time with the family for 4 days. The place is well maintained, clean, functional, in short nothing to complain about the accommodation. Check-in and check-out are very well organized thanks to Jacqueline and Laurent. There are a lot of tips. Another important point, the location is great with a fish market and many restaurants. Everything is done on foot and the bike paths are close. Thank you.

We had a most pleasant stay in Marielle and Jean Claude's very well located apartment. We were able to enjoy their superb terrace. The residence is very well maintained and very quiet. Their advice for visiting the region was very helpful. A big thank you to both of you for the little treats too. We highly recommend it.

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

Beautiful studio, very clean and well-equipped, with a good real bed and a small terrace. Well located, close to the beaches of Vaux-sur-Mer and Saint-Palais, easily accessible on foot as well as shops. We also enjoyed the quiet, the view of the trees framing a small piece of sea and the reserved parking. In addition, the host welcomes us in person, for once it is not a key box, it is appreciable.

Absolutely beautiful apartment with all the amenities you need. Extremely clean and we'll decorated. Very close to great restaurants. Highly recommend.
