Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Studio at a beautiful location with flair and char

My accommodation is close to public transport (3min to the bus) and ski/hiking area. The accommodation is very quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac at around 900 meters above sea level. You will love my accommodation for the tranquility and the environment. In the village center (5min walk) there is also the Walsermuseum and post office, bakery, butcher, ATM, restaurants and a discounter. My accommodation is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and furry friends (smaller pets)

A lovely, country-style apartment with many historical elements in a refurbished farmhouse. We spent four years, till 2017, lovingly restoring our home and the adjacent apartment, using only the best ecological materials. (eg. wood-fiber insulation, as well as clay plaster on all the inside walls.) Attention: For larger groups of 8 people or more, another apartment next door (100 sqm, €150/night) with another bedroom, 2x2m double bed, kitchen and bathroom are available.

Our Hüsli is located in the middle of nature, quiet and on the Alpstein-Wanderweg In the garden there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fireplace and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the alpine feeling can be enjoyed particularly well from the Bänkli in the forecourt. Inside it is nice and homely, with tiled stove and wood-burning stove, cozy living room and spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)

Our cozy studio is located in Walenstadtberg at 850m directly below the Churfirsten, giving you an optimal starting point for hikes, bike tours, etc. A cool refreshment is offered by Lake Walensee, which is 10 minutes by car at the foot of the mountain.
