Monthly Rentals in Douglas City

The location is very private with a nice backyard and at night the stars are amazing. It was my first time visiting this area of California and there isn’t too much to do but it is good for a relaxed weekend away. The closest grocery store is quite far so come prepared with food to stock the kitchen. Kitchen is really well equipped as others have mentioned. We brought our own coffee beans and used the grinder to make coffee! It’s a studio so there isn’t a living room to lounge but the bed is huge and comfortable. Just be aware of mosquitos!! We got quite a few bites.

What a wonderful little cabin decorated in such a classy Northern California vintage style! We felt so welcome and the cabin was warm and comfy. We had a great stay and Caitlin was such a great host. Hope we can visit and stay again.

We love Jessica and Jim’s place! This is the perfect location to walk to old town Weaverville, the brewery, and to explore the many trails! It’s very peaceful and has everything we needed for a two-night stay. Jessica and Jim were very responsive and helpful when we couldn’t tune in to Netflix…they came right over. This is our 2nd time staying and we hope to stay many more times!

We loved the closed off area from everything it really was just nice to get away from town. We loved waking up in the morning and since we pet the dogs a lot when they would come around they would sit on the porch in the morning waiting for us which was honestly such a nice highlight to our trip they were so friendly and sweet! The cabin was cozy and nicely decorated and they had little snacks and freshly picked flowers which was just so nice!! We loved how quiet it was and enjoyed our stay!
