Holiday rentals with a patio in Douglas Island

We enjoyed our stay in this secluded, quiet location at 17 mile North Glacier highway. Very comfortable 1 bedroom, very comfortable queen, with full kitchen and appliances, and living room area with seating for 3-4 people. We felt right at home, enjoyed the Alaskan artwork, and an active outside garden that was seen by looking down off the decks. We would definitely stay there again, very convenient to the Lena Point/Tee Harbor areas, and just a few minutes to the airport.

Beautiful place! We saw whales, bald eagles, and other wildlife from the living room view. We enjoyed how peaceful the place was and the tucked away location while also still being a short drive to get downtown. Tyler was a fantastic host - very kind, responsive, and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely stay again for our next Juneau trip!

The Pond House is a beautiful place to stay. My wife and I had an amazing time. The space itself is very cozy and well put together. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into making this place special. The nature outside is beautiful, and everything looked just like the pictures. Prior to this booking I also stayed with Glacier Nalu at one of their tiny homes - and I can say they truly care about your experience and treat you like family. Look no further if you are seeking a place in Juneau that’s quiet, secluded, warm and with hosts who really care. 10/10 stay!

We had a great stay here. It was clean and peaceful and looked exactly like the photos. We loved our stay here!! We even saw a bear walking through the front yard one day.

Thank you for the comfortable stay. I do apologize if my guest left the rooms a bit dirty we had last minute changes to 4am flight. I didn’t have a chance to do my thorough cleaning before we checked out.

Everything looked newly refurbished, was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed…it was all a very good experience!! When we had some questions about the TV, Adam came right over to help, which we appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful peaceful place and really liked Tim and Debbie and their beautifully landscaped home. The stairs down to the rental (and up to the parking) could be challenging for folks who cannot navigate stairs well or Cary luggage up and down. Tom was an excellent host and very friendly and responsive.

Stunning view! We loved the spaciousness, the gas fireplace, and the well-stocked kitchen and coffee/hot water pot. Comfortable and clean! And so easy to get to.

We loved Chris' house, he is a great host! We felt at home, the kitchen is well equipped, the neighborhood is quiet and safe with a beautiful view. Chris' home is very comfortable and kid friendly. Our two granddaughter's enjoyed the variety of toys they played with. We will definitely book again when traveling with family!

Jeremiah was a great host. Very responsive with great suggestions. Location is great especially is you want to hike and canoe in Mendenhall. Rental was comfortable, we were three adult couples and found this place to be perfect.

The Aerie was absolutely adorable. We loved the uniqueness and charm of the space. The space was beautifully decorated all the way from the quaint reading loft down to the living area. We couldn't get enough of how comfortable, cute, and cozy the space was. The rain during our stay sounded so peaceful on the roof and made the stay so much more cozy. Corey was so helpful and responsive, especially with the airbnb site hiccup during check-in. Highly recommend staying here for a week long trip or a peaceful weekend getaway. We are recommending this to ALL of our friends! Small tidbit would be to rent a car if you plan on going into town/sight seeing. Uber/Lyft was easy to get from the airport to the airbnb but being picked up was much more difficult and tended to be a little more costly. Thank you Corey and family for hosting us this past weekend! We couldnt of asked for a better place to stay.

Very comfortable home to stay at. With a wedding we were attending it was nice to come here and feel like we were at home!

We were looking forward to a night away, without work, laundry, dishes, kids, or chores. It was the perfect local getaway to relax and be in a wonderfully peaceful setting. We used the grill to have a delicious steak dinner, enjoyed the complimentary Netflix, and just had a quiet, relaxing, refreshing reset. The informational, welcome binder had so many more recommendations than expected. I definitely recommend reading through it upon check in. For out of towners, it’s like a personal tour guide with detailed instructions on how to get to so many cool places, some even more “secret” to Juneau locals. The number of suggested hikes was really cool to see. The recommendations were spot on and clearly explained, from hikes to tours to restaurants and more. This home is beautiful, functional, and stocked with everything (and far more) we could have wanted. We would come back with our kids too, as it’s perfectly set up for families. The bed and linens were comfortable, soft and so cozy

Very comfortable and great location. Alex and Miranda gave excellent recommendations for things to see and where to eat and answered all our questions. We had a great time in Juneau!
