We had a lovely short stay at Pippa’s place. It was absolutely spotless and very well equipped. Great distance from pubs and shops and only a short drive into Shrewsbury centre. We will definitely be returning.

Moorlands Annex

KarenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
An absolutely beautiful place to stay, it was idillic to sit out for breakfast by the little lake and enjoy the wildlife. A true gem, couldn’t recommend it enough. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Exceeded expectations with all the provisions, such as bread, milk, fresh eggs and biscuits. Only 30 min walk to Ellesmere with friendly Local pubs and great food. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Hobbit House @ Sychpwll

DanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent the weekend in the Hobbit House. It was perfect weekend away with our 2 boys and 2 dogs. Lots of room in the house for us all. Everything was as described, comfortable bed, nice shower and very clean. Fresh flowers from the garden and Welsh cakes were a lovely little touch. Debbie was very knowledgeable on the local area and told us the best places for food. There is a very handy leaflet with all the local attractions, we visited the waterfall! Stunning place. We would highly recommend and will be definitely visiting again! Thank you for having us 🙂

Wilderness Lodge, England

FionaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The lodge was lovely. Very secluded, quiet, clean and had everything we needed. The only down side was on the last day the WiFi dropped out, which was vital for me as I was working remotely from the lodge for the week. I messaged the host to ask if they had any info and never heard back. I appreciate technical problems happen but to just not hear back to my message was frustrating. The location was beautiful and it was easy to pop out to local shops for bits we needed. Due to not being able to park your car right outside the lodge I would say you need to be able bodied to walk up and down the slope from the parking spot to the lodge. Over all we had a lovely week and really loved the little lodge and the location.

Broomy Bank Pods - Rabbits Rest

JakeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a 2 night stay at the Broomy bank pod and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pod is placed perfectly for a peaceful and relaxing get away with the hot tub overlooking the amazing view. The pod itself was everything we needed and was pleasant to stay in. Gabrielle the host was brilliant with quick responses making communication and checking in easy as well as providing information for the local area. Would highly recommend a stay here !

Popty Pennant

MonicaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Popty Pennant (the Bakehouse) in June. Nick informed us that parts of the settlement can be dated back to the Elizabethan era, and you can certainly see the history of the beautiful area over time. The tiny house is compact with most things you need for a short stay and comes highly recommended for an authentic North Wales experience.
