Heerlijk huisje voor een weekje weg met onze peuter. Mooi rustig park en bosrijke omgeving. De tuin van het huisje biedt allerlei leuke speelplaatsen voor kinderen waardoor je als ouder lekker rustig kan zitten.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft zum Abschalten und Entspannen. Es fehlt an nichts, das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Sauna und der Wirlpool machen jeden Urlaub noch ein bisschen besser. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Dit verblijf overtrof onze verwachtingen. Wat een fantastische plek. Sereen en zo fijn. De vogels, de natuur, dat was echt genieten. Het huis was mooi, het bed sliep heerlijk en de keuken goed uitgerust. De host was net als de plek. Fijne mensen die klaar stonden als we iets nodig hadden en die met veel liefde over de plek vertellen. Enorme aanrader deze plek. Dank je wel Emile en Lucille voor het fijne verblijf.

If you are wanting to stay anywhere in this area, this amazing home is the place to be. The location is in the heart of the beautiful historic village. The home is stocked as well as you would want your own to be. The beds are very comfortable and the view upstairs is like something out of a storybook, and considering the extent that this historic farmhouse has been restored and re-imagined... it is. The furnishing and decor should be in a magazine. From Corrie’s warm welcome and the apple tart on arrival to coffee and meals on the patio with a lovely view of the church tower, we had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Easy walking and biking distance to the working windmill, delicious restaurants, ice cream, and the ferries. Quite a highlight of our time in the Netherlands. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

Un deuxième séjour fantastique dans ce logement au coeur de Volendam, l'environnement est paisible et on s'y sent chez soi. La maison est à 2 pas du port et des transports publics et il y a tout le nécessaire pour rester plusieurs jours

Een weekje tot rust komen tussen het geschuifel van de vogels. Bij regen weer voldoende ruimte binnen en bij mooi weer een heel aangename tuin om te zitten. In de omgeving is vanalles te doen, winkels zijn dichtbij. Alles is aanwezig om zelf lekker te kokkerellen. Pizza bakken in de pizza oven was ook eens leuk om te doen. Zeker een aanrader. We voelden ons op ons gemak.

Super Unterkunft und super Gastgeber . Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß sind haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war mit dem Boot erreichbar und wir konnten mit dem Boot einkaufen fahren. Es war ein echtes Abenteuer. Der Unterkunft sowie der Pool war sauber. Hat alles gepasst für uns ☀️

Fred's place is a real gem, right on the water, with beautifully done interior. The local beaver swims by every evening and you can enjoy the lovely exterior seating area on the water. Showering outside was something new for me, but if you time the shower between the boats passing it is a great experience and still private. You could opt to bring some swim clothing to solve the boat issue. A great place to relax on the water. There are no curtens, so bring a small sleep mask if you want to sleep in.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. We konden iets eerder inchecken, voor de kinderen was alles al aanwezig in het huisje. Het was mooi schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien!

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

Het huisje is een twee onder een kap, maar dit heb je totaal niet in de gaten. Het huis is ruim, zeer comfortabel ingericht en aan alles is gedacht! Geen enkel minpunt te benoemen. Hier komen we graag nog eens weer!

Het huisje is op een kleinschalig groen park, waar je goed terecht kan met je hond. Sterker nog het was het Pinksterweekend en ik heb nog nooit zoveel honden gezien. Allemaal keurig aan de lijn en alleen maar vriendelijke honden. Met een paar minuten lopen zit je in het bos, waar - op sommige plekken - de hond ook van de lijn afmag. Er is ook een gemeenschappelijk zwembad waar je gebruik van kan maken. Het huisje is comfortabel, het bed ligt goed en ook op een fijn plekje waar je geen inkijk hebt. Communicatie met de gastvrouw, Jacq , is perfect. Ze reageert meteen op welke vraag dan ook. Dank voor de fijne dagen.

Great mix between a very livable place to stay and a bucket list experience. Easy to cook, quiet nights, cozy! We stayed 10 days and enjoyed Utrecht as our NL base. Responsive and nice host, who has great info and recommendations in her guest book. Easy (25-min walk) to get to the historic center. Host also provided 2 city bikes, making it so easy to get around. We came by car but didn't need to use it due to walkability of everything. Houseboat is very well designed - it's small but there is organized and efficient space for everything you might need, without sacrificing hominess. Woodstove with plenty of wood and the huge windows overlooking the water make for a very serene stay. We're full time travelers by car in EU/UK/Balkans for over 4 years

Wir hatten einen schönen Kurzurlaub in dem Haus mit der Nummer 8. Das Haus ist schön, neuwertig und schick eingerichtet. Wir haben lediglich zwei Info-Punkte für zukünftige Urlauber: Die Matratzen sind ziemlich weich und in dem einen Schlafzimmer ist es aufgrund des kleinen Fensters im Bad nicht komplett dunkel. Das sind keine echten Kritikpunkte, nur ein Hinweis für sensible Gäste.

Tolle Unterkunft in Breukelen. Mit den Fahrrädern zum Bahnhof und dann ist man super schnell in Amsterdam oder Utrecht. Schön eingerichtet und netter Gastgeber!

Super verblijf in een schattig , huisje, mooi aangekleed en alles top ingericht👍🏻 mochten eerder in het huisje en super uitleg over van alles . We werden vriendelijk ontvangen, was fijn hier geweest te zijn, samen met onze hond, lekker naar tegenover gelegen strandje gelopen, moest alleen de hond van 35 kilo over de poort zetten 😂 Bedankt Sharon voor het fijne verblijf 👍🏻

Monica was incredibly responsive and helpful. The neighbourhood was quiet with convenient amenities - supermarket close by, the local bakery was magnificent and the bus stop was 12 metres away. We would highly recommend Green Blossom as a wonderful location to spend a couple of nights. Well appointed and very comfortable with everything you need.

Suzanne’s loft is truly a home away from home and filled with all the comforts and amenities you could ever need! So refreshing while traveling. We stayed only three short nights and our only regret is not staying longer. The loft is in the perfect location just a block away from restaurants, bars, and shopping. The street is so picturesque and we woke up Saturday to a beautiful linen market! Thankyou for hosting us and for your amazing communications! 🧡🧡

Robin’s place was exactly what we needed! The dog-friendly policy made our stay stress-free, and our pup loved the fantastic outdoor space with both sunny and shaded areas. The bed was comfortable for a great night’s sleep, and even small touches like the lovely-smelling hand soap showed attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with pets!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Wat een heerlijke plek! Omgeven door groen en bloemen, gewekt door de vogels. Veel ruimte met een mooie inrichting. Bel mogelijkheid om in de omgeving in de natuur de wandelen en fietsen. Goede tips van bv Jeannette en Frank.

Divya es una persona maravillosa que nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. Nos aconsejó de las mejores cosas que hacer, tanto alrededor de la casa como en Amsterdam y Utrecht. También nos recibió en su casa y se ofreció a cuidarnos a Syrax mientras visitábamos Amsterdam. Estamos super encantados de haber escojido su alojamiento para visitar los Países Bajos y esperemos poder volver a verla. Pd: Los atardeceres son magníficos desde la casita.
