Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dubuque

Loved our stay at this AirB&B. House was clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved the balcony - spending our mornings drinking coffee and listening to the birds while the kids played. We loved going to the Swiss Valley Nature Preserve and getting to downtown Dubuque was only a 15 minute drive. Beautiful location - we hope to visit again!

Our family traveled here from Chicago to visit our Dubuque family & this house will be our 2nd home away from home. This house was very clean and had a lot of amenities. The house was very comfortable and Abbey responds very quickly to your messages. I will definitely rent house again!♥️

This was our 2nd stay at the Car Wash and it was amazing. We will definitely be back. They have Everything you need to enjoy your stay and the bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on!

Very old, nice museum-like house! Our crowd had plenty of room. It seemed there was always another room behind the next bend! Washer, dryer, AC, fridge, hot water, gas grill, dishwasher worked great. Kitchen was well supplied. Were short on washcloths so brought some from home. We enjoyed being close to things that we could walk….walked 5 miles the first day! We took the elevator down to the shopping district…ice cream and coffee shops! It was very nice to work with the owner. He was very helpful. We would consider this place again if we had need of this much room again. If you’re looking for a brand new, up-to-date place, this is not for you. It’s very comfortable and homey but a very old home with all of the things that brings, shared bathroom, single pane windows with storms, steep back stairs, light switches in funny places 😊 It was great 😊

This home is exactly how it is presented in the listing. The home is well stocked with plush towels and a variety of kitchen utensils. The bathrooms are brand new. The home was exceptionally clean. Kylie is very responsive with communication. She was super friendly and very easy to work with! We couldn’t have asked for a better host! She is great!

Your place was so Retro!! We loved it !! Needs a fire pit and more outside backyard chairs. We really enjoyed the town and loved the view of the Mississippi River. The park across the street was amazing!!! We had the other guests from the other unit walk into our unit 2 times while we were there.

We had a great time over there. There were everything you need to spend some nice time with your family and friends.

Absolutely spotless and lovely! Loved the small touches and couldn’t as for a better location. Never even had to move our car! Even though it was rainy and pre-busy season, we had a great time and are looking forward to our visit later this summer!

A great place to stay right in the middle of beautiful historic Dubuque. In walking distance of many shops and eateries. The apartment is wonderfully remodeled and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Hope to stay again someday!

Had a wonderful time staying at the victory suite! Host was wonderful, very clean, & cozy. I went downstairs to their breakfast & lunch spot, Charlie’s Place, twice it was so good! Highly recommend their bacon,egg, & cheese croissant & this lovely airbnb☺️

This was a nice, clean place. Loved the history of the building. Centrally located to many things. Super comfortable beds. Also appreciated the night lights upstairs to make it easier to see during the night. Would stay again.

Return visitors to Vicki's place. The space this time was the smaller of the 2, but just what we needed for an overnight stay, a quaint place for the 2 of us to relax in the front room with the windows open while we listened to the Cubs game after supper. Then a hot shower and good night's sleep before heading out early. The location is just perfect on a quiet neighborhood street that's close to dining and shopping on historic Main St. We hope to stay again when we're back in Platteville! A+

We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for baseball and it was great to be walking distance to so many restaurants and bars, as well as the hotel where teammates were staying.

Our family had a fantastic job at Dan's place. The location is great - close enough to the Eagle Ridge Inn and Owners Club, but very private location with a beautiful view of the lake. The unit had everything we need and was much larger than the pictures made it seem. Galena had great shopping and restaurants. Galena Territory Owners Club indoor pool was perfect for the kids. I'd recommend staying here anytime we make it back to Galena Territory!

Great place to stay very close to downtown Galena.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It's a 10 min drive from downtown Galena in a quiet wooded area with paved trails that you can take to the nearby amenities. The place was clean, quiet, and the bathtub was amazing! The gym and indoor/outdoor pool are very nice but about 1.5 miles from the condo which wasn't stated anywhere (or at least not anywhere we saw) and was a little disappointing but overall wasn't a huge deal. The restaurant is a short walk through the trails or you can drive to it. It's right next door. Also, the initial message you get after booking with the rules and asking to email them out of the app was a little daunting and not normal for Airbnb bookings. It just had a less "homey" experience that you expect from Airbnb. It made me slightly nervous but after everything I would certainly stay here again.

This place was absolutely B.E.A.U.T.F.U.L! The staff were super sweet and friendly. So many things to do at Galena. Also, there was a table with “to do activities” That was very helpful. I would 100% come back. Thank you all staff for being such a good host.

The place was exactly as described and what we expected. Far enough out of town to not be busy but close enough for a quick drive into town.

We had a wonderful five day stay at the driftless getaway! Everything was to our expectations and beyond. Nice little touches throughout the entire areas. (Love the twinkle lights) There were Activities for both kids and adults like games and coloring books provided in the space. As well as a coffee bar, retro mini fridge and treat baskets in each room. Our location was a quick 4 minute drive or 15 walk into the main street of Galena. The town is charming and there is plenty to see, eat, do. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thank you both for such a lovely home away from home!
