We had a family birthday at this lodge and it was perfect. The lodge is very comfortable and well presented. It is in a beautiful location which was lovely and quiet. And we enjoyed the hot tub!

2 Bed in Bassenthwaite Lake (SZ381)

Owl’s Roost is well located. There are stunning views enabling us to see shooting stars and glorious dawns. Attractive garden where we watched lots of birds & butterflies. We were able to climb local fells without using the car. Several eating places in good walking distances including Bassenthwaite Lake Railway Station Café with the train used in the recent filming of The Murder on the Orient Express!

The Place, Loweswater. Utter tranquillity.

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at The Place. The location is breathtaking, and the house itself is perfect - every detail is beautiful and well thought-out, and Lucy had provided anything one could think of. Everything was of very high quality, from the bed linen and towels to the kitchen equipment. We were all adults, but if you have children, there are lots of toys, games, and activities, so that even on rainy days, there is plenty to do. Great walks nearby, perfect both for those who like hills and those who prefer flatter ground - Buttermere and Crummock are wonderful low ground walks, and of course the walk though Holme Woods to the Kirkstile is lovely. Thanks, Lucy and Nick!

Fieldside View 2! *3 min drive to Lake District

BenRating, 5 starstoday
Donna and Paul were great freindly hosts, Paul even asked if would like anything from the local shop as he was going. Any questions that I had before and during our stay were answered very quickly by Donna. We had Fieldside no2. It was very well equipped right down to liners for the double air fryer! The view from the living area and bedroom were great, sheep right outside. The location for us was perfect, approx 20 minutes by car to both Keswick in one direction and the coast in the other. A great stay and we will be back!!

Absolutely loved staying here; it’s so lovely to wake up to the sheep (and one morning a few cows!!) in the next door fields. Gorgeous views and easy to get around the lakes as it was conveniently located. Would recommend and would return!

Wainwright Log Burner

MadihaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Awesome place. Accurate instructions to locate the place. However, there was a gap in communication between the host and the Keswick Reach Accomodation. The lodge number was not confirmed and Keswick Reach management were confused about which lodge was booked for us. The management of Keswich Reach were very friendly, helpful and available for our late check-in. Hoseason's need to improve their availablity and response time as we booked through them and not directly with the Keswick Reach.

Hawkhow Cottage, Glenridding

BridgetRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.

Entire Cosy Cottage near Keswick, Lake District

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We've had a wonderful week long stay at La'al Cottage. Michael was a great host and communicated everything really well and gave recommendations of places to go locally that were dog friendly. The cottage itself is really cosy and equipped with everything we needed. Even the dogs were catered for with a little jar of dog treats and dog bowls which we thought was a lovely touch. It's in a great location too, central to everything in the town but tucked away off the road. We had no problem parking on the cobbled area throughout the week. I would definitely recommend the cottage and we will absolutely be back here for another visit! Thanks Michael!
