Monthly Rentals in Duck

This was a fabulous find at the right price in Duck, close to town and an easy drive to Corolla. The house is basic and comfortable. Cheri responded quickly, and was very easy to work with.

Our stay at the Sit N' Duck was absolutely perfect! The residence is well laid out with amenities to make your stay as easy and care-free as possible. Mary and Larry provided everything we could have possibly needed, and the washer and dryer were a helpful additional touch. If we wanted a beach day, it was only a 2-minute walk to a very secluded and peaceful section of the beach with great views, the sound of the ocean, and pristine waves. We brought a small beach cart which was easily maneuvered out and down the beach access boardwalk, but if you're packing light it wouldn't be hard to carry everything for the short distance. Even in the rain, there are wonderful covered sitting areas to sit out and enjoy the rain as we read a book or just chatted. Additionally, there's no shortage of things to do nearby in a short drive up to Duck or down to Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills. We couldn't have imagined a better trip to OBX and we look forward to hopefully staying again in the future!

Michael was an excellent host. The place was exactly as described. It has a beautiful fenced yard where our dogs were able to run when we were home. Very short walk to a clean, gorgeous beach. The house is comfortable and has all of the amenities we needed for our stay. The restaurant across the street had great food and cocktails, and we were only a short drive to anything in Duck or Corolla. I also cannot thank Michael enough for his communicativeness and understanding when we made a scheduling snafu. Truly an MVP. We would love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend Lowood Cottage.

The pictures do not do it justice - the Coop is a delightful, light, airy place. It was squeaky clean and tastefully decorated, with just the right amount of "stuff" so that I had everything I needed but it didn't feel cluttered. Katherine is a gracious and friendly host, and the location was excellent - a quiet street just a block away from beach access and near to Duck shopping. Highly recommend as a great spot for 1-3 people. I am already planning to go back!
