Cottage holiday rentals in Durango

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. All aspects of the stay were perfect. We were 5 young couples spending the weekend. Elena took care to make clear everything we could do and how we could take advantage of the time. She was also attentive in case we had any improvises. The house is perfect if you are looking to feel at home. Renovated and at the same time with original details of the house. A 10/10.

Really lovely hosts always ensuring everything was just perfect. Very thoughtful leaving little local gifts of yoghurt and fruit for us. It is a very quiet place, great views and walks close by. I would say hire car important to explore the local Urdaubai area.

We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

From the second I booked the beautiful villa in Sunbilla with Carmen and José, they took great care of advising with best activities, supporting with arrival and providing a wonderful clean home with all necessary amenities. We especially loved the restaurant elotxuri and the lake in natural reserve. We would love to come back when the pool is open next time. Thank you Carmen and José!

We're so glad we spent those days there. It was very relaxing, beautiful place. The welcome was really warm. The house is as described and very convenient. We are really happy. Small bonus for roommate with these two wouhs wouhs and these 4 ducks 😍

There were 6 of us and the house was wonderful, the best Airbnb I've stayed in so far and more for the price. Spacious, modern, cozy house with impeccable decoration. Very well equipped with more than necessary to be very comfortable. The patio area is very good and we even had a barbecue. I would definitely stay here again. Finally, Jose was very kind, always attentive and giving recommendations. Thank you very much, we had an incredible time despite the short time

Wow, what great house. The location is absolutely stunning in a little village with beautiful mountain views. The house itself is great—they’ve done a great job renovating and the whole thing feels very new and fresh and clean. A perfect place for a peaceful escape. Great communication as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The house has all the necessary amenities, the cleanliness is impeccable and the location of the house has stunning views. The area has many possibilities for sightseeing and nature walks. Arantxa was very nice and was always available for our questions and showed flexibility at check-in time. We'll save it in favorites and hope to return soon

The stay at Laura's house was great, it has magnificent views of the Sierra de Codés and Mount Yoar. The porch and garden are phenomenal, the two dogs we brought enjoyed it a lot. Both Laura by phone and her father Fausti in town were attentive at all times. And a great touch to find the fireplace lit on arrival, on a cold day. Highly recommended

Great stay, the house is wonderful with all the amenities and the perfect exterior... the pool, BBQ, everything in general is great. Olaf was very kind from the first moment, he explained everything great. We went with our dog and were very well received with little gifts for him, a drinking fountain and everything!! The only thing is the noise from the road during the day, then at night there is not so much movement...but the area is super quiet and very close to the entire coast and surrounding villages.

We felt at home, the place is beautiful and Felix is charming, everything is very clean and with all the amenities, very close to San Sebastian and all the places we decided to visit

An excellent place to stay, the house is big, nice and is very well equipped. We liked everything about the place, especially the fireplace they left us with firewood prepared. The surroundings are very nice and there are quite a few things to see nearby. Farid was very kind to greet us and made sure everything was perfect. It's a place to repeat and enjoy a few quiet days.

The place is beautiful and you have a lot of privacy as it is set back from the main home. It has everything you need to have a wonderful day. Thank you

A lovely space to relax. Quiet village but close enough to amenities. Iñaki was extremely helpful throughout and check in was easy.

Excellent stay of 4 days with friends in this house for the Biarritz half marathon. Sébastien is a great host, always very responsive and very flexible on arrival and departure times when possible. The house is as described, no surprises. I would recommend it without a second thought!

If you love peace, quiet and nature then this is the place for you. It exceeded all our expectations and we couldn’t have asked for more! Garbiñe and her family are so friendly and although no English spoken we managed to communicate perfectly with Google Translate - we laughed at our mistakes. On the day we arrived they were there to meet us with a wonderful cake made by Garbiñe’s Mum and of course, there is Eri and Puppi, the extremely friendly dogs - just lovely! The immaculate house is full of wonderful and personal touches and the garden is just beautiful and wonderfully maintained. You can see that a lot of time love and dedication is spent here! We took a lovely walk into the woods, accompanied by Eri who couldn’t wait to swim in the river. It is with sad hearts that we had to leave and were are already planning our return next year. Highly recommended accommodation, we had a fantastic weekend. Very nice decoration, it has everything you need, even toys if you have small children. Very quiet and relaxing environment, 3 minutes walk from the beach and the fish market

Wonderful environment and a very cozy house, very large, with fireplace and gallery. Everything was very clean, a bathroom in each room and it was beautifully decorated. The ceilings with wooden beams are spectacular. The deal with Txomin was super friendly and left us eggs, bread and homemade pacharán as a welcome gift.
