Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

Jennifer's place was a perfect gathering point for our birthday family reunion. The accommodation was spotless, bright and warm and even had a little pack and play set up for the baby to have a nap. The grounds were stunning as was the view. Our only regret is that the weather did not cooperate so water activity was limited to a polar dip followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A beautiful retreat that our family thinks should be an annual event.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

Chorong was a great host! Leading up to our stay she was extremely responsive as I had a lot of questions! The house itself was stunning. Clearly it is taken care of and maintained very well. All of the beds were so comfortable. Outdoor area was a lovely space. Would definitely like to come back in the winter as I am sure the scenery is beautiful.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The lakefront property is beautiful, clean, and our favourite part was watching the gorgeous sunsets that could been seen from the terrace as well as from inside. Jesse was easy to reach and made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were having a good stay.

The location of the cottage is amazing, right on the lake but also very accessible to the nearest town. The place was clean with ample options for entertainment, right from games and books indoors, to a hot tub, fire pit, barbecue and kayaks and canoe to have fun in water. Loved it and will be back !

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was super cozy and spotless. We had so much fun soaking in the tub and binge-watching shows on the projector. The heated bathroom floor was such a nice surprise! Being right by the river and surrounded by trees felt magical. My family was visiting from back home and it was their first time experiencing a place like this — and they absolutely loved it! It was such a special and memorable stay for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the BBQ setup was perfect. The only small suggestion would be to add a bit lighting around the outdoor fire pit area — it would make the evenings even more enjoyable. Also, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes, which is probably expected in such a natural setting. Not sure if the host can do much about it, but it’s good to come prepared with repellent if you’re planning to sit outside. 100% recommend — we didn’t want to leave!

Susan is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. The home was fully equipped with everything you would find in your own home, as well everything was clean. Beautiful sunsets on the dock on a peaceful lake. Highly recommend renting the extra kayak and SUP boards.

I needed a quiet getaway from the construction at my home. This cottage on 100 acres was perfect. It was so peaceful and comfortable. The wood burning sauna was amazing and Adam provided kindling and firewood. I saw deer most mornings. The property is close to Burks Falls with everything you need to get settled in for the week.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bryan’s cozy cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with peace, privacy, and the kind of charm you can only find in a well-loved home away from home. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed! The outdoor space was the highlight! perfect for morning coffee on the deck, roasting marshmallows by the firepit at night, and just relaxing with nature all around. The lake was just steps away, and we enjoyed kayaking! My kids had so much fun! We cannot wait to be back!

Junia’s place was better than the pictures. It was so quiet you didn’t hear a thing all day/night. The house was spacious, eloquently decorated with durable furniture and appliances and it was spotless! Junia was very efficient at labelling everything. We didn’t need to contact her for anything as everything was provided. Our family of 4 enjoyed exploring the outdoors with our dog and enjoyed the nightly firepit. Lots of walking trails nearby at Arrowhead and Limberlost forest. The pool table provided much enjoyment! Wifi was excellent for remote working! Would definitely book again!

“Perfect Lakeside Getaway!” I had an amazing stay at this cabin! The place was incredibly clean and well-maintained, and the views of the lake were absolutely stunning. Maurey, the host, was super responsive and really helpful throughout the whole process. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic escape, this spot is perfect. Highly recommend!

Amit and Jesse were incredibly helpful and understanding in response to a family emergency that changed our reservation unexpectedly. Their kindness and support, and fast response time, were sincerely appreciated. I am looking forward to them hosting us in the future.

10/10 place to stay. Incredibly clean, fully stocked, private and extremely comfortable beds. Allen’s place was also full of games so you are guaranteed entertainment. Looking forward to coming back. You can really feel the time and effort Allen has put into his place to ensure an amazing the experience for his guests.

We stayed at this cozy cottage for a book club weekend. The cottage was so tastefully decorated with an east coast flair that was very charming. The hot tub was spacious, and the cottage itself was immaculately clean and organized. Had everything that our group needed. Jennifer is an excellent host, friendly detail, oriented, and gets back to you very quickly would highly recommend this location.

Second time booking this cottage/lakehouse.. beautiful spot, nice and private, perfect for every kind of group get together, hosts keep the place very clean and is very replies very quickly with answers to every and any question! Worth it!

This cottage was an amazing place for a quiet getaway! Beautiful views from inside and out. All amenities were as described and more. Everything you need to have an amazing time is supplied and then some! Very responsive hosts who clearly want their guests to have a great stay. Patrick’s place was such a lovely treat for my group of friends. We were there for 4 nights and appreciated the flexible check in and check out. The inside was very clean and larger than expected. The beds were quite comfortable and the ceiling fans & portable fan were appreciated on the hotter days. As noted, the walk down to the water can be a bit steep but it’s not a very long walk so we had no issues. The dock itself doesn’t get much sun - at about 12:30pm it’s full shade. This wasn’t an issue for us but worth noting for those who expect to sun bathe. The lake itself was super peaceful and clean - not a very weedy lake at all and almost zero boat traffic. Kitchen is great. The fridge is massive. Having a dishwasher is a nice touch. Not a great selection of pans to use for cooking, only a medium size one that wasn’t completely destroyed. I’m sure that’s hard to manage with guests who may not treat them well. If you plan to cook a lot maybe bring one. We enjoyed our stay :)
