Long Barn is a newly renovated apartment on a private countryside estate, set in an AONB in some of England’s most beautiful countryside. It is situated on a quiet country lane on the edge of Winterbourne, yet within easy reach of the M4 & A34 and the local market towns of Newbury and Hungerford, with good links to Oxford, Reading and Swindon. London is only 42 mins by train. We are lucky to have several superb restaurants, charming country pubs, and a local farm shop all within just 3 miles.

The Pottery Barn

This is a self contained annex above a double garage (please note low roof angles in places) with an independent door. It has one king size bed with some seating and a TV and dinning table. There is a small kitchenette including a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The ensuite has a basic electric shower and usual amenities. There is internet available. If you would like to bring a child please contact us before to check if suitable. There is parking on the main road or opposite in a Close.

A luxurious superking bed and great WiFi means you'll have everything you need for a relaxing break in the countryside. From the Michelin-starred Woodspeen to Hungerford's antique shops there's plenty to do and see with wonderful walking and cycling on the doorstep. The village's popular new restaurant, The Boxford, is a 4-minute walk.

The Stable Loft, Oxfordshire

A beautiful, secluded apartment, the Stable Loft has been lovingly restored into the perfect countryside retreat. The nearest pub for good food and a drink is a short walk away and the local farm shop is close by.

We have private access to a stream at the back of the garden, with some very friendly (hungry) ducks. Get competitive with table tennis, croquet, and an extensive board game collection. Wedding venues - Barton House, Lains barn and Ardington House are 5 minutes by car. Harwell campus, Milton trading estate, Williams F1 engineering and Didcot Parkway Station ( London 41minutes) are also close by.
