Ideal rural retreat for anyone and everyone! This cosy wooden cabin is a simply lovely place to stop and unwind. Set near to a small Sussex village with direct access onto the South Downs, Iford is on the wild fringes of historic Lewes (2 miles), vibrant Brighton (7 miles) and Newhaven ferry and beach (6 miles). The Sheepcote, our brand new spacious shepherds hut, is based in the Kent High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It sits in its own south facing half acre garden with fruit trees, silver birch and a young oak tree. Outside there’s plenty of parking and an area with a bench, table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the countryside, watch the buzzards fly overhead and in the evenings listen out for the soft hooting of our resident owls! Its the perfect place for a romantic break.

The Foxy Shepherd - an idyllic country retreat

The hut is in a secluded fenced off part of our garden in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty with uninterrupted views over paddocks towards Benenden and provides the perfect retreat for couples looking for a place for complete relaxation and escape from daily life. It is completely self contained with an ensuite shower room, kitchen area, wood burning stove and cosy double bed. Outside is a fire pit with BBQ where you can enjoy the long summer evenings with a glass of wine and BBQ

Orchard Hut is a secluded and very private shepherd's hut fitted to a high standard, and situated in a gloriously peaceful meadow setting away from any road noise. The meadow is rich in wildlife and there are views to the South Downs that can be enjoyed from the hammock or the wood fired hot tub.The hut sits just outside the South Downs National Park, 3 miles from Lewes and 5 miles to Glyndebourne. There is direct access to a myriad of public footpaths with a good choice of stunning walks.

Located on a quiet working farm our hut has beautiful uninterrupted countryside views and is situated in it's own field with peaceful surroundings that make it feel very private. The large patio doors opening onto the outside seating area, the wood burner and the underfloor heating all make for a comfortable stay at any time of the year!
