Cottage holiday rentals in Eastern Scheldt

The accommodation was great! We have enjoyed the beautiful location at the holiday home. The home was completely as in the pictures. The Bornem area is beautiful for biking and hiking. The jacuzzi on the terrace of the house overlooking the pond, was blissful after a long cycling day. Just a pity that we had to provide bed linen and towels ourselves. Thank you sooo much Tim!

We had a lovely time in IJsselstein, it is a wonderful cottage with peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Jokelien was a fantastic host, very flexible and helpful. Can only recommend, would love to come back!

really a lovely quiet place, beautiful accommodation and surroundings and incredibly friendly people. we had the bad luck that a big equestrian event was just held nearby and that gave some nuisance from the parties that belonged to it but here was very well thought out and good solutions were offered. plus point was that we could watch a jumping event which was also new for us. very sweet dog and horses on the premises. in short a top location and we will definitely come back here! 5/5 stars!!

Cozy, clean cottage with large garden. Quietly located, private. The hot tub was a nice extra. The cottage is 1 open space (upstairs large bedroom with all beds, open staircase, downstairs living room, bathroom separate). So when our children were asleep, we had to sit outside, otherwise they would hear us too loudly. Not a problem for us because the garden is very cozy, but in a colder season it is important for families with bad sleepers like ours. Jan was friendly and helpful. The hot tub was warm as soon as we wanted to get in. And other questions were also answered immediately. Everything is fine!

We found a lovingly designed, very well equipped house in every way. Everything was as described and as pictured. The house is quietly very close to the dunes. In the garden we saw a rabbit almost daily. Esther, the manager, was very friendly and responded super quickly and immediately found solutions for everything. We enjoyed our stay and would vacation here again. Thank you!

Du was a superb host. super friendly. She organised a breakfast delivery personally for our first morning as it was my husbands 60th birthday. Champagne and a bread basket full of delights! We had a wonderful relaxing 3 night break. The facilities were super. Hot tub, sauna, pool. The kitchen was well equipped and like new. The bed was good quality. We slept downstairs and didnt use the up stairs apartment, but had the use of the entire retreat. I loved the African inspired decor. Very stylish. All in all, a 5☆ experience. We cannot wait to visit again.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

Our stay with Michiel was very pleasant. As a couple with a dog, the house was a cozy place where we lacked nothing. The kitchen is well equipped and has various appliances. We prefer to bring some utensils, kitchen knives, for example, ourselves. There was plenty of space to store the bikes and the terrace and the garden, as well as the tranquility and the well-kept outdoor areas also helped to relax. We will be happy to come back.

This accommodation is clean, generous & well presented and is conveniently located for Bruges, local walks and amenities and for connection to other local towns and locations. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay and would suit walkers and cyclists (it has an integral garage) and there is adequate local on-street parking. We would definitely stay here again

Margot and Adriaan are a very nice host couple. They were very kind and personable. The cottage is a very cozy, clean and attractively furnished accommodation. We felt very comfortable. The location is fantastic too. Located directly on the water and harbor and 3 minutes walk to the city center. Middelburg is a very pretty town. We recommend the accommodation without reservation and look forward to coming back again.

Absolutely recommended, we enjoyed the stay very much! The cottage is very cozy, super neat and clean, and the enclosed garden was also perfect for our dog. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance.

We spent 1.5 weeks in Louella's house and felt very comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the bathroom is a dream. Communication with Louella was super uncomplicated. She answered questions immediately and provided help. The house had the perfect starting point for us for bike rides or trips to the beach. We would recommend it without reservation :)

We felt very welcome by all the small and large attentions of Llyn. The house is in a beautiful location within walking distance of the heath. Both inside and outside the house, everything looks neat and nothing is missing. We enjoyed all the bird sounds, the owl, the sweet dog Rex that occasionally came to sit with us, the wonderful garden, but also inside the beautiful decor, the bath, the large kitchen and so on. As far as we are concerned, absolutely recommended!! We will definitely be back. Thank you again for the hospitality Llyn!

Gerrit Jan was the BEST Airbnb host we have EVER had!!! We had been planning to walk from the train station and we were so shocked when he offered to pick us up! He was there waiting and was so friendly and hospitable. Throughout our 5 nights there we loved talking to him and we had great conversations. His garden house is so cute and beautifully decorated and we loved that it is located right on a canal and footsteps away from shops and restaurants. We absolutely loved Leiden!!! The buildings and streets are so beautiful! We had so much fun walking and biking along the canals and checking out the Saturday market, and it was easy to travel by train to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Delft, etc for fun day trips. We really recommend staying here!

Jos & Mimi's accommodation is right on a beautiful golf course, but we didn't find it disturbing at all. It is very quiet and wonderfully green. The furnishings are of very high quality and the sleeping comfort is also great! From the accommodation, you have a good connection to Rotterdam or Antwerp (each about 40 minutes by car). But Jos also has great tips for excursions that are not so overcrowded with tourists. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

At Paulien's place we experienced Dutch hospitality. The place where the guest house is located is just wonderful. Nature, water channels, ducks and geese. If a person wants to relax from stress, this is just a wonderful place. The house was clean, smelled fresh, everything necessary was there. We were made to feel welcome there. Paulien had respected our privacy, but at the same time she was always ready to provide support and assistance. It was a wonderful holiday and we hope we will be able to visit them again.

Eric and Lut's cottage is a dream accommodation where you can discover the friendly character of the two hosts at every turn. You can't imagine how much love and heart is in it. Even the windows have their own story. The reception and hospitality of Eric and Lut gave us the feeling of home from the first moment. Everything has been thought of in the accommodation down to the smallest detail, even games for our children. And the air hockey match was the icing on the cake. The accommodation is not only highly recommended. If you are in Belgium, you should definitely stop by here. It couldn't be better. P.S.: The interior design deserves a prize.

We really enjoyed the little house, which is really nicely renovated and equipped. The lakeside location is simply idyllic! Communication with Adri and Belinda was very quick and extremely friendly. Beautiful, spacious home with a cozy atmosphere and wonderful beds. Recommended if you are looking for a quiet environment and want to visit Bruges and Sluis.
