Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ebensee

Wir waren zum Skifahren (Katschberg, Speiereck, Fanningberg) da. Die tägliche Anfahrt ist schon etwas länger als z.B. Maria Pfarr, dafür entschädigt u.a. das "eigene Haus". Wir haben es genossen abends den Kachelofen im Wohnzimmer einzuheizen und auf der Couch rumzuliegen. Die drei Schlafzimmer (OG) sind klasse, die Matratzen perfekt. Küche/Essen habe wir eigentlich nicht genutzt. Wir haben das Abendessen in drei örtlichen Gaststätten eingenommen (Jagawirt, Stiegenwirt, Guniwirt samt Mineralienmuseum/-verkauf). Auch hier wurden wir bestens bedient. Einzig das Badezimmer (OG) ist in die Jahre gekommen. Eine weiterer Toilettenraum ist vorhanden. Wir haben Petra und ihre Mutter, sowie Hund "Lucky" kennengelernt - allesamt liebenswert. Wir vier waren uns einig, ein angenehmer Aufenthalt bei Petra und ihrer Wohngegend.

Marius was a wonderful host welcoming us and showing us around the house. He was also very responsive in the communications and always there to offer help and guidance. The view from the house is breathtaking, scenery and absolute peaceful silence. It was just what the doctor ordered for us to rest and recuperate with nature but not lacking any convenience. House itself was very comfortable, roomy and very clean. We visited Altausee and Grundlsee which were quite closeby and highly recommend. On Sundays, there is a self service grocery store in Altausee that we utilized as everything else was closed. We highly recommend Marius' place to anyone visiting the area.

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home. The house is fantastic for a family and Roxana is an incredible host. she had arranged our public transport tickets that allowed us to catch the bus from the end of the street into Salzburg. She also surprised our 10 year old with balloons and decorations upon arrival for his 10th birthday. We loved our stay at Roxana's house, it was amazing.

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

Ein sehr schönes Chalet in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich und modern gehalten. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Große Empfehlung!

The house of Anita and Mathias is very beautiful, we had the fire lit and it gave a very cozy and homely atmosphere. The house is very well remodeled, the bathroom and kitchen are almost new and everything you need for a short stay. Also the surrounding is very nice and quiet, full of green and nature, we did many activities every day like; walking, going to the wildpark, spa, etc. They provided us with a very useful pdf with lots of tips for things to see and do in the surrounding area. Anita and Mathias live next door to the cabin, were always reachable and very helpful when we needed something. Happy to go again for a longer time:) highly recommended.

If you are looking for peace, quiet, a beautiful view, a beautiful apartment, a feeling of home and the owner of the apartment who answers every question immediately, this is the place. Mimi took care of every detail in her house. We felt like home down to the smallest details in the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen. The apartment is designed for a family with children who need to cook. The kitchen has everything. Good location, close to the lakes and all the attractions related to nature and water recreation. Highly recommend.

Alexandra is friendly host. We stayed 2 night, location is great, just 1 hour to Salzburg or Hallstatt. Place has private covered parking. Everything went fine

Der Aufenthalt bei Gisela war super. Sie selbst super nett und die Wohnung top. Man hat sich gleich wie daheim gefühlt und die Aussicht war toll. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Franziska's guest apartment is delightful! We found everything we needed! We relished the coziness of the kitchen and great room, which were conducive to visiting, contemplation, yoga, and soothing window views. We valued the separate WC and lavatory. The entire apartment is comfortably spacious and functional, with ample hooks and storage nooks for things we like to bring. Surpassing the exceptional nature of the guest apartment is its responsive, caring, competent, and helpful owner, Franziska! She is friendly and engaging but not intrusive. Her sensitivity and professional knowledge of hospitality are evident in every detail. For us, her decorating and keen management of her guest apartment created a feeling of an inviting home away from home. We couldn't have been happier. We believe Franziska is an infinity Super Host, and we thank her for creating an environment conducive to our total relaxation and enjoyment. We have but one regret, two weeks wasn't an extended enough stay!

The apartment was beautiful. The views were great from everywhere in the home. The beds were the best I’ve slept on since being in Europe for over a year. The kitchen supplies for cooking were great and easy to use. The only drawback back was since we are not accustomed to how the TV and cable works we were never able to get it to turn on. But the WiFi was great so we just watched movies on our iPads. The apartment was pretty centrally located to where we wanted to go and there were lots of books and pamphlets on attractions in the area. I would only recommend the owners place an informational book or guide in the home for anyone not from Austria. Otherwise the apartment was amazing and worth it.

Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 kleine Kinder und hatten eine wunderbare Woche über Silvester. Die Umgebung war wunderschön und wir konnten sogar eine Hütte fussläufig in 1:30 h erreichen. Es gibt wahnsinnig viele Ausflugsziele und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um noch viel mehr zu entdecken! Die Unterkunft war sauber und groß genug für uns 6 Personen. Matthias war ein außergewöhnlicher Gastgeber, der uns immer Rat und Tat zur Verfügung stand.

Sehr coole Unterkunft mit ganz viel Liebe und vor allem kreativ und gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr guter Service vor Ort. Man fühlt sich willkommen. Jederzeit wieder und absolut zu empfehlen.

Super Wohnung und Christian ist sehr nett. Wenn es möglich ist, würden wir noch mal hier übernachten:)

Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und detailreich eingerichtet. Klein aber äußerst fein ist das Stichwort. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sie war immer ein angenehmer Rückzugsort nach Unternehmungen. Der Bahnhof und die Altstadt sind schnell fußläufig zu erreichen. Und die Gastgeber waren zwar nicht vor Ort, aber das war auch kein Problem. Man hatte immer das Gefühl bestens betreut zu sein. Man merkt einfach, dass sie das, was sie tun, schon sehr lange und voller Hingabe tun. Danke für die tolle Wohnung

een zeer proper, aangename woning. perfecte locatie en woning voor een familie vakantie met een grote groep. alles is tip top inorde. Robert is een zeer vriendelijke en beleefde host. we kregen meteen een warm en huiselijk gevoel bij aankomst. zeker een aanrader!

Our stay at Roman’s. Was great. 😊 it’s a big home with plenty of room. The pool was fun and the place was nice and clean!! Roman was a great host and responded to questions very quickly!!

Wir hatten Anfang Mai 2025 einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Landhausvilla von Angela, Joy, Klaus und Tequila (dem Wachhund). Wir sind mit sechs Personen (Oma, Opa, Mama, Papa und unseren erwachsenen Söhnen), sowie unserem Familienhund Blixa angereist. Die Landhausvilla hat einen besonderen Charme, ist sehr hochwertig und vollständig ausgestattet und alle Räume sind supersauber vorbereitet gewesen. Alles was wir für unseren 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt benötigten, war vorhanden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. An den kälteren Abenden haben wir den gemütlichen Ofen angefeuert und z.B. auf dem großen TV im Wohnzimmer gemeinsam den ESC 2025 geschaut. Wir wurden von Joy mit einem österreichischen Schweinsbraten und Feuer im Kamin sowie im Ofen begrüßt ! Da sich nicht nur Tequila und Blixa gut verstanden haben, hat Joy uns drei Mal ein wunderbares Abendessen gezaubert. Das war wirklich toll ! Für uns das perfekte Ferienhaus und wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen !

We had a wonderful family stay at this apartment! The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. The apartment itself was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would absolutely recommend this apartment to other families traveling with pets!

Perfecte locatie en zeer mooi verblijf. Perfect voor een skitrip, hou er alleen rekening mee dat je kort moet rijden naar één van de nabijgelegen skistations, en dat dat skibus niet meteen in de straat voorbijkomt. Maar als je een auto hebt is het allemaal perfect te doen. Zeker aan te raden!

Für viele Gäste mit Haustier (Hund) perfekt geeignet. Eigenes Haus und Gartenlaube, bei schönem Wetter sehr schön. Aufladen von E-Auto mit Wallbox sehr einfach und direkt beim Vermieter zu zahlen. Mitten in der Natur, sehr ruhig und sehr schöner Blick ins Tal, die Berge, auf den Dom und St. Johann. Die Küche ist mit allem was benötigt wird ausgerüstet.

Most appreciated the proactiveness and personal touches. As we arrived late ar 5pm on Saturday, Christina offerred and helped fill the fridge with our needed breakfast groceries for weekends (shops closed on Sunday). Also helped me buy a sachetorte birthday cake for one of our member. The Hosts surprised us with a birthday greeting card and small gift. Jurgen was on site to welcome and showed us facilities and equipment of the Villa. Gave helpful tips on excursions and best restaurants. We had best days of sightseeing and enjoyed the foods.

Wir hatten zu 9 einen klasse Aufenthalt in der Villa. Alles wie auf den Bildern, toller Pool und Garten und wunderschöne Aussicht. Die Kommunikation und der Check-In liefen ebenfalls problemlos und einfach ab. Jederzeit wieder :)
