Recreational break on the Way of St. James

Quiet yet central. Private terrace, bathroom and kitchen. King size bed for good sleep. The train station and the centre of Wattwil are a 7-minute walk away. Hiking trails are right in front of the apartment, for example, they will lead to the Waldbach waterfall. Stay on the Way of Saint James you can enjoy the view of Lake Constance, Zurich crisis or the Säntis. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten as well as Thurwasser Falls by car. There is space for your car as well as bicycles.

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

In just 13 minutes, you can take the PostBus to the nearest ski resort. Beautiful hikes can be made from the front door. Starting from a booking of one night, you will receive the Toggenburger guest card with which you can benefit from many discounts. You can travel for free in Obertoggenburg by public transport.

Serene Stay: Where Mountains Meet the Lake.

We enjoyed our vacation in the accommodation very much. The hikes are all super accessible by car and you can walk to the lake wonderfully with the dog. Here it is recommended to know where the dog beach is, as the bathing meadow has strict dog bed prohibition. The apartment was very pleasantly cold despite the high temperatures outside. The garden is very well maintained and invites you to the aperitif outside, as it is also fenced. We would leave again, highly recommended

This was the best equipped kitchen and house I’ve stayed at, had everything you could want and more. The host went above and beyond to make our stay special, she even gave us heads up about traffic. We had a wonderful stay at Matthias’s apartment. The place is absolutely perfect—very comfortable, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location couldn’t be better, with all the major attractions and hiking spots just a drive away. The apartment also offers a spectacular view, which we enjoyed every day. Matthias is a fantastic host—attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. His hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay on the Eggbergen. It was truly a memorable experience. The apartment was spacious, beautifully equipped, and offered breathtaking views straight out of a picture book. We felt warmly welcomed and appreciated the many helpful tips we received during our time there. The fresh eggs, and other local produce from the nearby farm shop were a real treat, and we’ll definitely miss the peaceful atmosphere and the cows grazing below the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature in a stunning setting!

Everything is tip top. The train station is just a 5-minute walk away. The views from the living room and the terrace are great. Apartment was great. Roland has a few personal items (pictures, etc.) in the apartment, which makes the apartment "homely". :)
